L!FE Leaders 501c3 Detroit based leadership and career development program is designed for youth ages 14-24. With Detroit as our classroom, L!FE’s experiential curriculum teaches interpersonal and professional skills through field trips, round table discussions and workshops with Detroit leaders, and working in the community, to position Detroit’s emerging adults to be leaders in their community. Providing wages for our students, L!FE programs allow students to focus on school and family responsibilities while receiving training for their futures as their 'job’.
L!FE Leaders ambition: Stop opportunity from being a privilege.
L!FE changes the trajectory of our students' lives.
Our Celebration: Youth Voice is essential, and our students work hard to become articulate, informed, and mature to have a seat at the table. This year’s fundraising event celebrates this along with Detroit’s commitment to intergenerational collaboration that is an essential component of Detroit’s powerful determination to succeed. Detroit has proven to our students at L!FE Leaders, over and over again, their embrace and inclusion of the Youth Voice.
