Our Mission

We harness the unique power of equine therapy in dedication to those facing acute medical, developmental or emotional challenges. Our specially trained miniature horses are taken directly to the facility (or home) of anyone within reach. Compassionate horse therapy is proven to lower heart rates, blood pressure, anxiety, PTSD and depression, while mitigating feelings of loneliness, fear and isolation. Profound benefits are gained almost immediately for our hospice, nursing home and Alzheimer's patients as well as cognitively disabled youth and emotionally traumatized children, many suffering from the abusive horrors of sex trafficking.

100% of your gift goes directly towards horse care and transportation expenses; our trainer/handler works solely as a volunteer, rewarded simply by the Grace of those we serve. Please Help Us lift up a Life!

Adorning Rosebud in Purple Pizzazz for a hospice patient's 88th Birthday, knowing it would be her last. She loved horses and had grown up on a ranch, often reliving her life and the role horses played in her early years. We were able to create a lasting memory for her entire family. Purple was her favorite color and some curly ribbons were taken home to rest by her bedside as a sweet reminder of her visit.

Human Trafficking Horrors Momentarily Forgotten: The secrecy of young children rescued after suffering the horrors of sexual abuse is protected and we cannot provide photos of the children. However, two tiny princesses decorated Rosebud half a morning from her special decoration drawer--and while we aren't able to erase their fearful memories nor the long-term damages of distrust, we can briefly supply a barn full of hay smelling happiness, keeping these girls in the present moment in a place of both fun and safety. Their smiles are contagious but often fleeting in our environment of gentle care. For a few brief moments, they are innocent children again! Our gentle therapy creates a thin sliver of time focused only on "the now", replacing an unspeakable past and giving possibility to a future filled with more light than dark. Please consider a gift towards a child's future! Don't let these angels be defined by society's predators or the predator wins twice.

Teaching bravery, letting clients learn courage on their own. One tiny second grader hadn't spoken for months since her molestation, but by staying in the present and by decorating, grooming and leading "the littles", she was exampled Trust. Over time she dared to communicate with the humans that hadn't protected her. We gave her a start towards a healing that will take the rest of her life, humbling us in the process, as a witness to His Grace.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Providing equine therapy to diverse socio-economic groups with the dignity they deserve for those suffering medical, cognitive, emotional or sexual trauma. We support the entire family unit, as well as nurses, social workers and care givers. Sadly, of late, we have also taken on many clients, most of whom are abused children, suffering the horrors of human trafficking.
