Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis provides support to women who are experiencing physical, emotional, sexual and/or financial abuse. All our services are free of charge. Our services include: -Marianne's Place (a 28-bed shelter for abused women and their children); -The Transitional and Housing Support Program (non-residential support for women who have experienced abuse); -The Sexual Assault Centre (support for women who have experienced sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, or stalking, also support for friends/family of survivors); -The Rural Women's Support Program (support throughtout the county of Wellington); -24-hour Crisis Line (support and information, including access to all above mentioned progams at 519-836-5710 or 1-800- 265-SAFE).
We offer one-to-one counselling, support groups, information and referrals, accompaniment to court/doctor etc., public education and professional trainings, safety planning, and resources.
