Famous Fido Rescue And Adoption Alliance

Famous Fido is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized each year through our adoption program, community education, and promotion of spaying and neutering. We receive no federal or state funding and rely solely on community donations, fundraising events, and volunteers to support our operations and care for the animals. We also advocate for legislation and ordinance changes to secure rights for all animals.

Ohio Shorthair Rescue Inc

The mission of Ohio Shorthair Rescue, Inc. (OSR), a not for profit organization, is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find appropriate, loving permanent homes for purebred German shorthaired pointers that are abused, abandoned, unwanted, cannot be cared for in their current home, or are in the custody of animal shelters, pounds, and the like. Biggies Bullies is a foster home-based rescue founded in 2011 in Pittsburgh PA. As a small rescue, their mission is to rescue and re-home Pit Bull type dogs in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. They focus on educating the public on responsible pet ownership, positive force-free, science-based training, and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. With love, care, and humane training, they ensure proper placement by making appropriate matches to the right families and remain a lifelong resource for those families.

All Dog Rescue

All Dog Rescue is dedicated to finding life-long homes for rescued dogs. We accept dogs from shelters and relinquishing owners, thoroughly evaluate them in volunteer foster homes, and then help families select the right dog for their home. As part of our commitment to our animals and the public, we will always take our dogs back if the adoption is not successful. To encourage responsible pet ownership and reduce pet over-population, every dog and puppy is spayed or neutered and provided with routine veterinary care prior to adoption.

Hope Haven Farm Sanctuary

Hope Haven's mission is to rescue abused, neglected, injured, sick, and slaughter-bound farm animals. These animals are provided with nutritious food, full veterinary care, warm shelter, companionship from others of their kind, love from their caretakers, and a life-long safe home. Hope Haven also educates the Pittsburgh public on the sentient nature of all animals and their right to live their lives free from fear and suffering. Education is provided by farm tours and volunteer days, presentations at local establishments and schools, tabling events, and literature distribution.

Rock City Rescue

Rock City Rescue is composed of a network of fosters and volunteers who work together to rescue loving, adoptable dogs. The dogs we rescue are often in danger of imminent death as they are on the kill lists at very high volume, high kill pounds. We then spay/neuter, vaccinate, provide flea and heartworm preventative and get them transported north to foster and forever homes. We want the dogs to be in the best possible adoptive home, so we take our time and are diligent in finding the right match.

Great Pyrenees Rescue Of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary. Education And Animal Rescue Society

Education and Animal Rescue Society is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit Texas corporation whose mission is to educate the public about issues concerning animal behavior and proper care for pets including an emphasis on vaccinations, spay and neutering, and nutrition. Further, EARS is committed to finding homes for unwanted animals that would otherwise perish in shelters. EARS keeps all of its animals in homes with volunteer foster families where the animals are loved and treated like a part of the family until the right permanent home is found.
