Go Conscious Earth protects African rainforests and the animals that live there by partnering with indigenous communities to eliminate extreme poverty and cultivate sustainable practices. We have conserved one million acres of rainforest and provided clean water to over 10,000 people so far! We have asked the communities there what they need and we are working with them to make that happen - simple projects that work, starting with clean water.

Wild Africa Foundation's Mission is fourfold:Enhance public awareness of the general state of and specific threats to African wildlife.Raise funds to provide financial support for targeted programs which preserve and protect wildlife while promoting community welfare and engagement.Target support to established groups within Southern Africa that have demonstrated success on the ground and have an adequate base of local support.Operate a financially sound and accountable organization with minimum administrative costs.

Our mission is to save giraffes from extinction so they can live freely and safely in the woodlands and savannas of their native Africa. We have over twenty action-oriented projects in nine African countries including creating or improving large giraffe sanctuaries and wildlife corridors, supporting anti-poaching rangers and de-snaring work, rescuing, caring for and rewilding giraffe orphans, rescuing endangered giraffe trapped on an island, and rewilding giraffe and relocating giraffe to broaden gene pools.

Bushlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and preserving African wildlife in its native habitat. The most important work we do is anti-poaching and conservation in Mana Pools National Park, which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also monitor and track iconic bull elephants, develop infrastructure to establish ongoing ranger presence in vulnerable areas, and provide funding to support local community health and welfare needs.

An international tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Purple Martin (Progne subis) species of bird through scientific research, state-of-the-art wildlife management techniques, and public education. The PMCA's scientific staff conducts research on all aspects of martin biology throughout the bird's North, South, and Middle American breeding, wintering, and migratory ranges. The organization functions as a centralized data-gathering and information source on the species, serving both the scientist and the martin enthusiast. Its major mission is educating martin enthusiasts in the proper techniques for managing this human-dependent species.

The Wildcat Sanctuary (TWS) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill big cat rescue located in Sandstone, MN. TWS provides a natural sanctuary to wild cats in need and inspires change to end the captive wildlife crisis. TWS is funded solely on private donations. The Sanctuary is a rescue organization and is not open to the public. Combining natural and spacious habitats with a life free of exhibition, TWS allows all residents to live wild at heart. As a true sanctuary, we do not buy, breed, sell or exhibit animals. The Wildcat Sanctuary is accredited by the American Sanctuary Association the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and a member of Tigers in America sanctuaries.

The Roar Foundation, founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1983, exists solely to support The Shambala Preserve. Our mission is to educate the public about the dangers of private ownership of exotic animals. Huge numbers of exotic dangerous animals are bred and sold in the United States for illegal purposes. Private ownership presents a grave danger to the public and is cruel and unfair to these animals. More stringent legislation is needed to prohibit breeding and selling. We are actively involved in legislating this on federal and state levels. Prior to 1983 I had been rescuing the exotic felines since 1972. Up to the present, The Shambala Preserve has given sanctuary to over 235 exotic felines - lion, tiger, cougar, black and spotted leopard, serval, bobcat, Asian leopard cat, snow leopard, cheetah, lynx, tigon, liger and African elephant. All have come to the Preserve after confiscation by authorities, such as California Fish and Game, U.S. Department of Agriculture, SPCA and Humane Societies. They are from roadside zoos and private citizens who realize they have purchased an animal they can no longer handle.

Utah's Hogle Zoo has a rich, 100 year history. Guests come to appreciate and understand the animal kingdom - Nurturing respect for nature. It all began with an Asian elephant named Princess Alice.  100 years later, Utah's Hogle Zoo boasts over 800 animals - including three African elephants, Amur tigers and a polar bear. Beyond being a wonderful outing for families (the Zoo is one of the top paid-for attractions in the state), Hogle Zoo strives to offer educational opportunities through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning. Hogle Zoo is also committed to conservation and fostering a love of the animal kingdom and its environment. Just as you've likely discovered, trying to feed your own family, it can get expensive! ITS MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT THE VIRGINIA ZOOLOGICAL PARK THRIVES AS A SUPERIOR ZOOLOGICAL INSTITUTION, REACHING ITS FULLEST POTENTIAL TO SERVE PEOPLE, ANIMALS, AND THE ENVIRONMENT. THE VIRGINIA ZOOLOGICAL PARK SEEKS TO INCREASE THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORLD'S FLORA AND FAUNA AND TO ADD TO THE GROWING BODY OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM; TO DISPLAY ANIMALS RESPECTFULLY IN A NATURAL WAY THAT ENCOURAGES THEIR NATURAL BEHAVIOR; TO CONSERVE ANIMALS AND THEIR HABITATS; AND TO OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING AND ENJOYMENT TO THE PUBLIC. Paws Animal Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc. (PAWS) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization focusing on wildlife education, rescue and rehabilitation. We operate out of South Carolina and carry rehabilitation permits from the state and federal government, as well as USDA and USFWS permits for legal public display of resident animals in wildlife education programs. Our organization is entirely volunteer-based; with no paid staff, 100% of donations go directly toward animal care. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax deductible. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release orphaned or injured wildlife, and to provide educational live-animal presentations that promote peaceful coexistence with native North American wildlife. Our hope is that our site can serve as an information resource for members of the public everywhere!
