Koahnic Broadcast Corporation (KBC) is a Native-owned and operated media center that was incorporated as a nonprofit organization under Alaska State law in 1992 to provide the first ever media service for Eskimo, Indian and Aleut residents of Southcentral Alaska. KBC's mission is to serve asa national leader in Native media production, instruction and broadcasting.

MA was founded in 1976 with the belief that in order to ensure the free and unfettered flow of information and ideas necessary to maintain a truly democratic society, media must be accessible, accountable, decentralized, representative of society's diversity, and free from overt or covert government control and corporate dominance. MA dedicates itself to fostering a genuine diversity of media voices and perspectives, holding the media accountable for their impact on society, and protecting freedom of speech.

Filmmakers Collaborative (FC) encourages and supports the making of great films and media projects by people of all ages and experience levels. We offer grants management, mentoring and workshops to a diverse and national community that includes award-winning PBS documentarians, first-time producers and directors, and young people just discovering the power and potential of visual media.

Featured programs include Democracy Now!, The Thom Hartmann Program, Gay USA and investigative documentaries. FSTV airs on DISH Network (9415), DIRECTV (348), Roku and community cable affiliates. Programming streams on www.freespeech.org and is syndicated on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. FSTV broadcasts are commercial-free and viewer supported.
