Recover, Rebuild, Restore: we are helping our community recover after the 2103 Black Forest, when 14,000 acres burned. Our focus in 2018 is transplanting trees into the burn scar. Bringing green trees back into the forest will encourage the wildlife to return, and the green will be a constant reminder to our community that we can recover, rebuild, and restore.

SBIG harnesses the humanitarian interests of students, corporate and faith-based partners and other civic groups to support fellow students in Ghana by providing computers and related equipment for learning labs, age appropriate reading materials and other support to beneficiary organizations. SBIG has a diverse set of trustees and members, representing the private commercial and non-profit sectors, students and their parents, and U.S. and overseas-based partners.
