We believe that a strong primary healthcare system goes a long way in detecting diseases early on, reducing chances of hospitalization and disease progression, thus alleviating the burden on our fragile healthcare system.

Miracle Foundation is an international nonprofit that helps orphans and foster children find a safe, stable, and permanent family. Whether in an orphanage or in the Foster Care System, our vision is a family for every child in our lifetime. Since 2000, Miracle Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of children. In 2022 alone, we supported more than 170,000 children—and this is just the beginning. Today, we are a world leader in ending the need for orphanages and ensuring children grow up in safe, stable families. To achieve this, we are actively uniting children with families, partnering with frontline workers, preventing children from entering the system whenever possible, and stabilizing placements for children until they find a forever family. We appreciate all donations of canned food, medicines and water, and will distribute those to all in need with the help of our allies. But we ask you to consider a monetary donation, which will enable us to tend other needs: buy fuel, contract local construction workers and, specially, implement community development projects P.E.C.E.S. fosters social, economic, educational development of individuals and communities in social disadvantage. The project began in Punta Santiago, Humacao in 1985 and has expanded its services to the eastern region of Puerto Rico. We want to inspire leaders, with special attention to youngsters, so they become champions of their own communities. Our work helps participants insert themselves into community processes and become protagonists of their own transformations. We do this through several programs tied to our three core service areas: education (including an alternative education high school); prevention services for at-risk populations; and entrepreneurship and development training.

Direct Relief works in the U.S. and internationally to equip doctors and nurses with life-saving medical resources to care for the world's most vulnerable people. For COVID-19, Direct Relief is donating urgently needed medical aid to U.S. hospitals, including N95 masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as oxygen concentrators. The aid group is also working closely with state and county public agencies that are mobilizing medical resources. American Nurses Foundation Nurses are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response. We have created a Coronavirus Response Fund for Nurses to enable the public to support and thank nurses. The national fund focuses on: - Providing direct assistance to nurses - Supporting the mental health of nurses – today and in the future - Ensuring nurses everywhere have access to the latest science-based information to protect themselves, prevent infection, and care for those in need - Driving the national advocacy focused on nurses and patients

World Bicycle Relief’s mission is to provide people in need with access to independence and livelihood through The Power of Bicycles. People in developing nations suffer every day due to lack of transportation: without access to education and economic opportunity, people live in poverty; without access to healthcare, people die of preventable diseases and minor injuries.  Bicycles are a simple, sustainable way to bridge the transportation gap between needs and resources. Compared to walking, the only transporation available to many people in developing countries, bicycles represent an enormous leap in productivity and access to healthcare, education and economic development opportunities. We accomplish our mission by designing, sourcing and manufacturing bicycles designed to withstand African terrain and conditions while meeting the needs of students, healthcare workers, farmers and entrepreneurs. We encourage local economies and promote long-term sustainability by locally assembling bicycles, training mechanics, strengthening the spare parts supply chain, and providing high-quality, affordable bicycles to people in need of transportation.

AFUNO is a nonprofit tax-exempt charity organization dedicated to providing footwear to students who are in dire need. Our main focus is to ensure that, all students have an adequate pair of shoes and also focus on making sure that no students walk to school barefooted. We are taken the first step to help the underprivileged school-aged and the talented to have the opportunity to own a pair of shoes. Your unwanted footwear creates opportunity many need. Walking becomes unbearable. Every day many children are prevented from attending school or sport activity, adults are unable to work, farmers are unable to farm their land, and doctors and nurses cannot properly and professionally perform their duties as a medical professional, they cannot properly provide a medical footwear to a child in need because they know that in this hardship financial conditions, parents can't afford one. A new pair of shoes provides relief in many people's lives in Haiti, in times of disaster, and helps bridge the economic gap in the South and South-West of Haiti. Refugee Rescue is a humanitarian and non-governmental organisation operating a skilled search and rescue (SAR) team on the North Shore of Lesvos, Greece. It was founded in response to inadequate search and rescue infrastructure in 2015 and is the only remaining dedicated SAR NGO in the region. Our rescue boat "Mo Chara" and SAR crew are currently based in the small fishing village of Skala Sikamineas. On call 24/7, the Refugee Rescue team is always ready to respond in the event of an emergency. From rescuing people abandoned at the foot of inaccessible cliffs, to intercepting fragile dinghies and guiding them to safe landing zones, to facilitating transfers with authority vessels: our work on land and sea seeks to make this perilous crossing a little less dangerous for those seeking refuge. While the focus of our Emergency Response is on our SAR operations on the water, the boat crew receives vital support from our land coordinator and a team of volunteers. Onshore operations include spotting to identify boats in distress, in order the vessels can be intercepted and brought to safety, as well as working alongside partner organisations to distribute clothing, blankets, emergency supplies. We also assist the UNCHR in identifying protection or medical cases. Beyond the shoreline, we are increasingly expanding our attention to challenge the wider context of migration, as well as an increasing threat to the right to SAR more broadly. Refugee Rescue is now a member of the SAROBMED (Search and Rescue Observatory for the Mediterranean), which is an international, multi-disciplinary consortium of researchers, civil society groups, and other organisations working to prevent human rights violations on the Mediterranean.

The United States Fire Department Reserve Corps, (USFDRC) Inc. was established to pay tribute to those who have served and are serving as volunteers, emergency services, and support staff, along with the nation’s military members. These individuals have given and continue to give the ultimate sacrifice for their families, communities, and country, particularly during and following the events of September 11, 2001. The USFDRC is the first National Volunteer Reservist Fire Department established under the corporation laws of the State of Florida, registered with the Internal Revenue Service, (IRS) as a 501(c) (3), as a Non-Governmental, (NGO) not-for-profit, charitable, humanitarian, educational, and public safety organization on April 29th, 2010. The USFDRC is a civilian reserve force that provides an additional extension of service components to fire departments in the United States and its territories. The civilian reserve forces are organized through the USFDRC: Reservist Officer Training Command (ROTC). The Mental Health Services Command (MHSC) is the first services branch providing a host of nationwide tailored educational programs, services, and resources to fire departments and every sector of our communities. This includes serving Police Departments and Military branches when requested as part of a Joint Inter-agencies Doctrine Cooperation Concepts Operational Force. It aims to improve communication and mutual understanding within the federal government and increase workforce efficiencies using the enclosed as a starting point for interoperability solutions. Our core principles include providing relief to disaster victims and educating individuals on how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies, both within the United States and globally upon request.

The Paul Chester Children's Hope Foundation (PCCHF) is a registered 501(c)(3) charity that provides medical assistance to children and families in developing countries, giving them a chance to live productive lives through well-conceived medical interventions. We perform reconstructive surgery (i.e. club foot and cleft palate repair, burn scar revision, ear tubes, eye surgery, etc.) and work to arrest preventable, curable diseases (e.g. trachoma, glaucoma). The foundation provides highly specialized medical assistance to individuals and families in developing countries where such services are unavailable due to logistics or economic circumstances. The foundation harnesses the expertise of medical professionals and local agencies to identify opportunities for maximum social impact, and then funds and completes the medical or surgical interventions deemed most viable. The PCCHF core base is made up of volunteers - both medical and administrative, which vary from 50-200 in any given year. On the organizational side, the small group is made up of 5-7 dedicated individuals who meet regularly to discuss, plan and pilot missions. Our medical volunteers coordinate, and execute the missions with the assistance of logistics volunteers and in-country counterparts who have requested our assistance. A typical mission takes place over ten days with a team of medical professionals and organizers in collaboration with officials from the host country. The number of surgeries performed is directly linked to funding, number of volunteers and the capacity of the local hospital. For example, a 2003 mission to Ecuador resulted in 110 successful surgeries, with a team of 20 foreign medical volunteers. Safe passage for supplies and staff was provided by the consul general and the first lady of Ecuador. The medical procedures provided largely addressed disfiguring conditions that have a tremendously negative impact on the livelihood of the afflicted individual.

Mavi Kalem was formed at the aftermath of the 1999 earthquake, and founded in 2000, to respond the needs of the earthquake affected and migrated communities in particular of the disadvantageous groups of women and children in health and education. Since then, it has been implementing projects mainly assisting women and children since its establishment. Projects involving the empowerment, skill development, health services and information sharing have been implemented throughout 2000-2002 in Düzce area, mainly assisting women and children after the earthquake. Since 2002, Mavi Kalem has been implementing projects and activities concerning; educational support, awareness raising on health standards, awareness raising on domestic violence, psychological support, consultancy on health and legal issues for both local and migrated women and children in Fener/ Balat district in Fatih, Istanbul, addressing the needs of children, women and girls of the local community migrated from all regions of Turkey and since 2014 the Syrian children and women in Fener-Balat were included in its beneficiary group. Activities such as Turkish language courses, socialization activities with local population, help in admissions to schools and other official and administrative actions, and psychological support were provided to Syrian children and women. Mavi Kalem has worked toward the Syrian refugee influx related issues since 2011, by conducting needs assessments and gap analysis in Hatay, Gaziantep and Sanliurfa without-camp populations. Also on the national and international level; women' rights and health rights, children's rights, wide spreading of minimum standards in humanitarian aid, youth exchange programs are included in Mavi Kalem's actions. Dissemination and advocacy for humanitarian assistance standards and principles in disasters, emergencies and migration situations is one of Mavi Kalem's work areas. Since 2001 it has been part of Sphere Project, since 2009 INEE Workgroups and for 2 years now part of CHS Alliance. MAVİ KALEM has held the adaptation of Sphere handbook in Turkish successfully and been in cooperation with Ministry of Health, TRC, municipality health departments for its wide spreading, and implementing training programs. Similarly INEE and CHS basic humanitarian aid principal books have been adapted to Turkish and disseminated at national level by Mavi Kalem. It is one of the founding members of SITAP (Civil Society Disaster Platform, national). Mavi Kalem has organized Women in Disasters and Emergencies Workshop hosting women experts, academics, experienced NGO field workers from humanitarian organizations, NGOs, and women right based organizations in 2016. Gender specific issues, needs, and rights in emergency settings were discussed; field experiences and suggestions for improvement were exchanged toward strengthening and mainstreaming the gender perspective in disaster and emergency response. Mavi Kalem, has also delivered its services and expertise to disaster and emergency or poverty affected locations other than its primary implementation area through partnership with other local organizations, in other districts of Istanbul and other provinces such as during the Van earthquake response. Overall organizational strength and capacity lies within the Mavi Kalem's 17 years of implementation experience with focus on public health and education, disaster, emergency and migration specialization, advocacy of women and girls health rights, mainstreaming gender equality perspective in its implementation, developing and designing projects and programs based on the needs and participation and feedback mechanisms of its beneficiaries, volunteers, and supporters, measuring quality and monitoring and evaluation of impact in action rather than quantity focus, integrity and commitment of Mavi Kalem, at all levels to organization's policies in regards to work ethics, preceding women and girls, and children protection, non-discriminatory approach, preservation of confidentiality and respect for dignity, transparency and accountability, anti-fraud and corruption. Since its foundation Mavi Kalem has been working with international donors and experienced in project budget management, and reporting accordingly. Mavi Kalem's administrative and financial system and its management are executed as per Turkey's finance law and associations' law and regulations. Grant agreements, contracts and partnership agreements are also reflected in its implementation and management. Annually Mavi Kalem goes through financial and administrative auditing of relevant governmental body and also independent financial auditing. Mavi Kalem prioritizes gender equality in the implementation and decision making steps of projects and decides and acts with accountability, transparency, participation and approaches differences equal as principal. Mavi Kalem, being a non-profit civil society organization for which 97% of employees are women, applies positive discrimination to women when recruiting, selecting and determining beneficiaries and target groups to promote gender equality. To eliminate social discrimination during stages of project content, project design and project implementation, working with women is prioritized in determination of the project team and selection of financial experts procured from the affiliated participant organization. In addition to being sensitive to gender discrimination in works and studies, Mavi Kalem acts responsibly and is in favor of vulnerable groups avoiding discirimination based on ethnicity, political views, religious beliefs, sexual identity and race in terms of target groups, beneficiaries and employees. Mavi Kalem does not define itself in politic, religious or ethnical personalities.
