Fox Chase's mission is to reduce the burden of human cancer through the pursuit of knowledge in basic biological research; to conduct research specifically related to cancer causes, prevention, and treatment; and to apply this knowledge to the prevention of cancer and the treatment of cancer patients. Fox Chase has the oldest and third-largest cancer center support grant from the National Cancer Institute and is the oldest cancer specialty hospital in the nation. In January 2000, Fox Chase opened the nation's first facility devoted to comprehensive cancer prevention research. Created in 1998 by Lynne Cohen's three daughters, the mission of the Foundation is to support and enable collaborative, multi-institutional research combating ovarian cancer through prevention and early detection. The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is a national nonprofit organization uniquely positioned to fight ovarian cancer. A network of preventive care clinics, a consortium of researchers from prestigious cancer centers around the country, and a national registry of high-risk patients from geographically diverse communities comprise the core of our direct efforts. From this multi-institutional research platform, we seek to increase survival rates for women with ovarian cancer by supporting research for the prevention and early detection of the disease.

Jamie's Hope's mission is to assist those affected by cancer with direct programming for patients and their families; by raising awareness of early detection and prevention; and by supporting scientific research of cancer treatments.

The Baldwin Fund, supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. AMI is a 501c3 national physician-led nonprofit institute aimed towards melanoma and skin cancer education, support, conducting scientific research, prevention and finding cures for skin cancers.
