JFCU advocates for and supports the rights and needs of children affected by all forms of violence and/or whose right to education has been denied. Special attention is given to children heading households and those affected by child marriage and armed conflict.

To create awareness of the plight of widows and victims of violence in India and other South Asian countries; To foster acceptance and promote the basic human rights of living with dignity; To provide compassionate care for elderly widows. We have a simple, but strong mission: to cultivate awareness of the South Asian Culture through artists, performers and story-tellers; by focusing on community-based efforts including awareness, education, advocacy and support; by supporting women at-risk and victims of domestic violence. We will make a difference!

The goal of Blessing Bags of Warmth For The Homeless is to encourage self-worth in our unhoused, and under housed, community. This is done with personal face to face contact in, and around, the community. Offering the simplest of basic necessities, from personal hygiene to clothing, is beginning to show that a little human to human compassion is immense in building ones self-esteem.Another part of our outreach is helping in emergency housing insufficiency situations. For example a mother and small children that were living in a vehicle needed food and personal hygiene products. These funds are used to provide those items right away.Now that we have established a 501c3, we want to build a stronger financial foundation so that we can continue to offer these services on a grander scale.
