YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel Co.

To promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity. The YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel county is the primary provider of crisis intervention services to those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. This includes the county's only domestic violence safe house shelter, legal representation in peace and protective orders, licensed therapy, abuser intervention classes, 24-hour hotlines, community education and outreach, and hospital accompaniment.

Camp Unalayee is a wilderness camp for kids from all walks of life, begun in 1949. We are a community that cultivates a deep respect for the natural world. The Mavuno Project

We believe in the work of love. Through faithful, consistent efforts, we know each life we touch will yield a MAVUNO (harvest) of hope. Our mission is to spark a movement that is passionate about missions, education and by extending love and support to our local community. We do this by hosting mission's trips to help impoverished communities around the world. We organize and host empowerment seminars, conferences and workshops for women; and by offering educational forums to raise awareness about human sex trafficking here in Miami-Dade County & internationally. We believe, by being a voice for the voiceless we will lead people to FREEDOM.

Trinity Forum

Founded in 1991, this Washington, DC-area nonprofit is modeled loosely on the Aspen Institute and works with top-level executives in all professions to address the deep personal and public issues of modern life from the perspective of faith. Its mission is to contribute to the transformation and renewal of society through the transformation and renewal of leaders. The board and staff are Christian in commitment, but its programs are open to leaders from all faith commitments (or none) and are held in a seminar style that focuses on themed readings and respects the perspectives of all participants. Particular focus areas include ethics, character, motivation, responsibility, philanthropy, and freedom of conscience, all addressed in the context of history and the great ideas of Western civilization.

Financial Kick Start Just Because It's Just an Opportunity

Financial Kick Start JBJO is a 501c3 non-profit organization incorporated with a heart for the youth and young adults. We have demonstrated a strong commitment to the positive development of the youth in the community since 2016. JBJO has been very instrumental in exposing young minds to the world of finance through the empowerment of our Financial Literacy Awareness Program. Our program equips the youth of today to become the successful economic adult leaders of tomorrow! Camp Hobe'

Camp Hobé is a special psychosocial support program for kids being treated for cancer (and similarly-treated disorders) and their families, through summer camps and family outings. Our mission is to create an atmosphere that enhances self-esteem, foster independence and friendships, and offers a sense of belonging. Participants are given the freedom to “just be kids” for a time and to stretch their limits physically, mentally, and socially. Our programs provide medical and psychosocial supervision to ensure participants are safe physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are passionate about improving our participants' overall mental well-being. Our programs are run by staff and volunteers who are trained to supervise and guide participants in activities that challenge, support, and grow their physical, mental, emotional, and social health.

NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN INCORPORATED - LOS ANGELES

NCJW|LA is a section of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. NCJW|LA serves more than 12,000 individuals through our Community Mental Health and Supportive Services, Scholarships, Talkline, Youth Educational Programs and Services, Back 2 School Store, intern training programs and our clothing assistance projects. NCJW|LA social justice programs provide education and legislative advocacy on issues that affect and impact women, children, and families in the areas of children’s rights, economic justice, healthcare, human trafficking, immigration reform, reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and gender-related violence.

Planned Parenthood's mission is to ensure that individuals and families have the freedom, information, and ability to make their own informed reproductive choices. We believe that each individual has a basic right to control their reproductive life. Individual control will lead to a better quality of life and stronger families and communities.
