Children awaiting parents (CAP) is dedicated to finding loving adoptive families for children waiting in the foster care system. Roughly half a million children in the U.S. have been removed from unsafe homes, and of these, 108,000 are free for adoption. CAP seeks to find adoptive homes for america's hardest to place children.

Hendrick Home For Children

Hendrick Home for Children is a 24 hour residential facility for children who cannot live with their biological families. By emphasizing spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual growth, the children are taught to live productive lives. An environment is provided also for single parents and their children to stabilize and strengthen their lives while developing an ability to live independently.

Chisholm Foundation for Children

With the provision of residential facilities, Chisholm Foundation for Children provides Chisholm Services for Children a place for children 12 and younger to live and grow in a therapeutic envirnoment. Chisholm Services for Children with this support is is the only non-profit organization in Central Nova Scotia offering a long-term care program, which specializes in early intervention. Chisholm is dedicated to guiding children who face severe adverse circumstances like neglect and abuse, to a realization of self-worth. Chisholm helps children develop skills and capacities to function successfully in a community setting and grow as healthy, stable individuals.

Children Of The World

Founded in 1996 Children of the World, believes it is the birthright of every child to be in a loving family and nurturing home, and they seek to restore this birthright to children who are abandoned or orphaned by uniting them with adoptive parents. Children of the World is one of the few intercountry adoption service providers in the state of Alabama that is Hague Accredited by The Council on Accreditation (COA), an accrediting entity designated by the US Department of State. Based in Fairhope, AL, Children of the World has matched more than 2,000 children with loving families over the past 20 years.

Empowering Children And Families

To help children and families construct and sustain a healthy foundation for the future. Empowering Children and Families advances our mission by providing a comprehensive “roadmap" unique to each family's strengths and challenges. The roadmap engages the entire family, requires demonstrated positive improvement, and provides much needed supports in the areas of mental health, education, social development, and family values. 100% of Empowering Children and Families funding comes from individual donors, community foundations, and corporate partners. This strategy leaves us free from government bureaucracy and political agendas. In the first year ECF will serve five families in the greater Bridgeport area. The staff of four is donating all of their time in the first year to supporting the mission of ECF.
