Donate to Small Business Salutes to support small business owners and employees affected by COVID-19

This month, Bustle Digital Group is shining a spotlight on some of the millions of small businesses challenged by COVID-19. We’re encouraging everyone to participate by spotlighting small businesses on social with the hashtag #SmallBusinessSalutes and by donating to charities driving immediate relief to small businesses and their employees across the country.

Donations will be split among the following three organizations: 

  • Opportunity Fund, a non-profit microfinance organization that is currently raising support for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis — especially those run by women, people of color and immigrants.
  • MusiCares, a non-profit that provides critical assistance for music people in times of need and have recently launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund to help individuals in the music community affected by the pandemic.
  • Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, an initiative created by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) to help restaurant industry employees experiencing hardship in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
