Our Mission

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We are the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. Since 1949, we've invested more than $1.6 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today's most innovative approaches. LLS provides free information and support services for patients, survivors, families and healthcare professionals, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care through an advocacy network of over 100,000 volunteers at the state and federal level.
