We know it may seem impossible, but it’s not! Our entire business model is based on the generosity of donors - when donors like the free service that we provide, they can leave an optional tip to cover our operational costs. Over the last few years, mission-driven individuals, companies, and nonprofits around the world have trusted Pledge to be their fundraising platform of choice and this has enabled us the opportunity to pay the credit card fees on our own.
Over 98% of donations processed by Pledge are under $1,000, which means that on average, the nonprofit is going to receive 100% of the funds raised through a Pledge fundraiser, minus a $5 fee to cover the cost of disbursing funds. For any donations over $1,000, the nonprofit will receive the donation minus credit card fees of 2.9% + $0.30.

If your campaign was created on Pledge’s platform using a fundraiser page or a donation form and has tipping enabled, Pledge will cover fees on donations of $1,000 or less. Nonprofits incur a $5 fee for payouts at the beginning of each month they receive a disbursement.
*Note: A no-tip, fixed fee option for our campaigns is availbale during setup.
