Our Mission

We are proud that Tonari Gumi has been able to provide a wide array of programs and services of benefit to the Japanese Canadian community for over 40 years. We try our best to meet the needs of the community in both Japanese and English. We offer various programs during the day for seniors to socialize and serve others, community services such as a Japanese Meals on Wheels program and a visitation program to help seniors alone in care facilities or at home, families of seniors and those suffering from dementia or Alzheimers, new immigrants and temporary residents who need assistance.
