What Speaks 2U is the trade name (DBA) of Azertion Movement for Cultural Understanding and is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Our mission is to produce high quality educational, inspirational and entertaining films. Our focus is on the unique differences in cultural traditions and social complexities, uncovering the vast commonalities that make us all human. Through sharing these stories, barriers can be removed leading to tolerance and globally affecting public policy, perception and encouraging action.

Our Mission: Helping People Make Lives Brighter Through Philanthropy. The foundation works to grow philanthropy and strengthen our community by encouraging community endowments, addressing community needs, and providing community leadership, raising the quality of life for all. Whether it is helping the economically challenged workers meet their basic human needs, build a playground in a disadvantaged community, or set up vision testing for high school students, or provide opportunities for disadvantaged kids.

TYTW's mission is to protect girls' rights and end child marriage. Through the use of powerful portraits and short films of child brides, TYTW serves as the bridge, connecting girls' stories to governments, policymakers, and the public. TYTW's Adolescent Girls Photography Workshops provide survivors and girls at-risk of child marriage a chance to heal, tell their own stories, and return to their communities as leaders in the fight against child marriage. OUR VISION IS A WORLD WHERE Every girl can decide for herself, if, when, and whom to marry. Adolescent girls are free to simply be children and can determine the course of their own lives.

The mission of Jazz Empowers is to transform the lives of youth in underserved schools through jazz education.We fulfill this mission by partnering with underserved schools across the country to start and develop jazz programs. We are driven by our belief that every child in America has the right to a high quality music education. We teach jazz because it is rooted in improvisation which maximizes students’ creativity and self expression. We believe jazz has the power to transform students’ lives intellectually, emotionally, and socially. The mission of the African American Civil War Museum is to correct a great wrong in history that largely ignored the enormous contributions of the 209,145 members of the United States Colored Troops. It tells the stories and preserves for posterity the historic roles these brave men of African, European, and Hispanic descent played in ending slavery and keeping America united under one flag. The Museum uses a rich collection of artifacts, documents, primary sources and technology to create a meaningful learning experience for families, students, Civil War enthusiasts and historians about the period from the American Civil War to Civil Rights and beyond.

Karlovsky & Company Dance is a St. Louis based contemporary modern dance company dedicated to exploring and nurturing the art of dance with innovative choreography that illuminates the human experience. The company fosters collaborative relationships among musicians, visual artists, and choreographers reaching local, national, and international audiences through concert and informal performances, and dance education. Founder and artistic director, Dawn Karlovsky, is a 2015 Artist Fellow of the Regional Arts Commission in St. Louis.

The International Museum of Dance fosters shared human experience through the understanding, exploration, and participation in the art and language of dance. IMOD is redefining the scope of a traditional museum through online and in-person experiences that celebrate, integrate, and teach dance across communities, cultures, and generations worldwide. IMOD is building this vibrant, inclusive ecosystem in partnership with notable artists, educators, technology innovators, and cultural institutions, elevating the diversity, interconnectedness, and cultural impact of an indispensable universal art form.

To sponsor and produce innovative theater, digital video and films, youth development programs and other live or online events that address health, political and socio-economic issues affecting historically under-served individuals, at risk populations, cultures, minorities, youth and communities. Through performance, community outreach, artistic and cultural programming, we build and strengthen communities, develop future leaders, promote human development and create opportunities for youth and adult artists of all disciplines .

The Simple Good is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to connect the meaning of good from around the world to empower at-risk youth to become positive activists through art and discussion. Through mindfulness and social emotional based art programming and public art projects, our mission is to transcend the message that no matter where you go in the world, good means the same to all of us and that is what connects us as human beings.
