Founded in 1999, Booklyn is an artist-run, non-profit 501 (c) (3), consensus-governed, artists and bookmakers organization headquartered at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Booklyn supports artists and organizations committed to environmental and social justice. We work towards this by documenting, exhibiting, promoting, and distributing their work within educational institutions worldwide. We envision a world in which art and bookmaking are tools for education, personal agency, community engagement, and activism. Booklyn’s programs include Collection Development, Publishing, Exhibitions, Education, and the Box Set Program.

NW Documentary’s mission is to practice, teach, and share the art of non-fiction storytelling. We offer filmmaking workshops to the public for both youth and adults, create original works and short films for other non-profits, and create a community space for storytellers to support each other’s work. South East European Film Festival educates about and promotes cultural diversity of South East Europe through its annual presentations of films from this region and year-round screenings and programs. Their mission is to foster cultural exchange among underserved immigrants/descendants from South East Europe (SEE) and other Americans, and illuminate through film the overlooked cultural diversity and troubled history of this 18-country area covering the greater Balkans and the Caucasus. SEEfest serves as the cultural hub and resource for scholars and filmmakers, and creates opportunities for cultural exchange between Southern California and South East Europe.
