AMURT is a relief and development organization with projects in thirty countries across the globe, applying its philosophy that every human being deserves the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling life. This often translates into helping people procure the basic necessities of life: shelter, healthy food and water, education, health awareness and income generating capacity. We believe that the happiness of one depends upon the happiness of many, so we build bonds of solidarity amongst people.

At Heroic Hearts, our mission is to empower and uplift marginalized communities worldwide. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, we provide access to basic human necessities such as food, water, clothing, and education, with a particular emphasis on supporting orphaned children, widows, the elderly, refugees, and internally displaced people. Ecojustice is a national charitable organization dedicated to defending Canadians' right to a healthy environment. Our lawyers and scientists set legal precedents and strengthen environmental laws that protect and restore the environment, both today and for the future. We are an independent organization and 100 percent of our funding is provided by our generous donors. The BC SPCA is a provincial non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). At the Food Bank for Larimer County, we believe no one should be hungry. Our dream is to deliver health, hope and humanity to stabilize the lives of our clients and build a vibrant community. We are a private non-profit organization and the only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food in our county. Each year, we provide food to more than 37,500 people in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs. The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. The Coalition for Rainforest Nations (CfRN or the ‘Coalition) assists tropical governments, communities and peoples responsibly manage their rainforests. Healthy rainforests protect against a changing climate, generate needed biodiversity and provide safe habitats.Launched by Coalition members in 2005, the United Nation’s REDD+ Mechanism, designed to incentivize conservation and contribute to the battle against climate change, now includes around 90% of the world’s remaining rainforests. A first in human history!But, it’s only the beginning. To succeed, rainforests must be valued more alive than dead!
