To reduce the burden of human cancer, research conducted at the Institute for Cancer Research of Fox Chase Cancer Center for over eight decades has led to ground-breaking discoveries affecting science and medicine today. Current research programs are wide-ranging and include gene expression; molecular aspects of oncogenesis; viral molecular biology and pathogenesis; molecular structure and function analysis; pharmacology and therapeutics; regulation and development of the immune system; cell-cycle control; and human genetics. Opportunities are available for postdoctoral fellowships and graduate training and for professionals interested in developing technology-based business relationships or partnerships with Fox Chase.

Theatre Workshop of Nantucket is a community-based theatre that promotes the unification and participation of community through theatrical performances that inform, explore, and celebrate the human spirit. To achieve this mission, TWN produces, presents, and develops programs that foster community participation of both adults and children; builds and maintains an organizational capacity and secures and maintains facilities necessary to support our programs.

Civic Nebraska works to create a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans. While our organization is divided into three program areas, Civic Health, Youth Civic Engagement, and Voting Rights, these programs work in tandem to invest in the lives of Nebraskans. Metropolitan School of Dance, Incorporated: Building character through the art of Dance. MSDI is dedicated to enabling students of every socio-economic background the excitement of personal accomplishment through dance. Our program lends attention to building positive self esteem, self confidence, self worth, determination, discipline, focus and personal accomplishment through arts education. MSDI trains students ages 3 through senior adult (essentially all ages) in ballet, Pointe', African, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop and drama. Our in-house motto is "EveryBODY" has the right to dance. MSDI does not turn any individual away based on color, creed, ethnicity, size or physique, race or religious affiliation.

The John Howard Society of Alberta is a non-profit agency concerned with the problem of crime and its prevention. The organization takes its name and spirit from the 18th century humanitarian John Howard, whose name has become a symbol of humane consideration for prisoners. It was incorporated in 1949, and today the organization consists of six separately incorporated districts along with the Provincial Office. We believe that crime control is as much the responsibility of the community as it is of government. Through involvement with the John Howard Society, as members or volunteers, people in the community play an active role in the criminal justice process by providing programs for offenders and their families, ex-offenders, young persons and the public.

At the Buck, we aim to end the threat of age-related diseases for this and future generations. We bring together the most capable and passionate scientists from a broad range of disciplines to study mechanisms of aging and to identify therapeutics that slow down aging. Our goal is to increase human health span, or the healthy years of life. Located just north of San Francisco, we are globally recognized as the pioneer and leader in efforts to target aging, the number one risk factor for serious diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cancer, macular degeneration, heart disease, and diabetes. The Buck wants to help people live better longer. Our success will ultimately change healthcare.
