Horizons for Homeless Children improves the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts and helps their families to succeed by providing high quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services. To support our mission, we also advocate on behalf of young children, train educators and human services providers, and provide research on the impact of early education on homeless children.

Pathways for Children (Pathways) nurtures children and supports families through programs that educate, enrich, empower, and motivate.

For families of children with special needs, the Centers for Exceptional Children is an advocate that helps the entire family thrive by providing a holistic and integrated program of therapeutic, social, and educational services.

More than twenty years ago, four college students asked each other: What if we could offer children from under-resourced communities individualized attention before they enter kindergarten, giving them the critical academic and social skills—the ‘jumpstart’—they need to succeed? The idea took hold and today Jumpstart has trained more than 45,000 college students and community volunteers, preparing nearly 100,000 children for kindergarten success. Jumpstart’s program is replicated across the country in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We leverage partnerships with higher education institutions, community organizations, Head Start programs, community-based preschools, and school districts to create sustainable solutions in order to close the kindergarten readiness gap.

MONTESSORI PARENTS CO-OP FOR CHILDREN IS A NON-PROFIT MONTESSORI SCHOOL FOUNDED IN 1985 LOCATED IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA. MPCC IS STRUCTURED FOR CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS THROUGH THE 6TH GRADE AND OFFERS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD TO BE PART OF PARENT-RUN COOPERATIVE EDUCATION.

Our Preschool and Kindergarten programs provide children the opportunity to learn through play and through the arts, which nurtures their intellectual and their creative development. Our exceptional staff works to build trusting relationships with every child; It is through these early relationships that children learn to think, understand, communicate, express emotions, and to develop their social skills. Denise Louie Education Center promotes school and life readiness by providing multi-cultural early learning services to children and families, especially those who need our services the most. We will respect and preserve each child and family's individuality, cultural heritage and home language. We will promote personal and social responsibility with integrity and love in an environment defined by social justice and peace.

Our educational goal is to create responsible global citizens through a global education. And it is this commitment that has driven the unified educators of the foundation to develop programmes and practices that nurture students to become global thinkers. The one-of-a-kind bilingual, bi-cultural education methodology created by the foundation is shared among our international network of schools that span two continents. Yew Chung has pioneered a new paradigm in international education. We define an international education by what goes on inside the student. It is about the internal transformation of the child. This is affected by the international school’s culture, which is created by the teaching and learning environment, the administration, the overall content and process which links to the character formation of the child. The international education ethos that Yew Chung reflects can be seen in the content and process of education that leads our students to an inner transformation whereby they are both Eastern and Western.

The San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF) is a non-profit fundraising organization that helps the San Carlos School District provide a well-rounded public education for all students. We work in partnership with parents and the community to support core and innovative programs that are vital to an exceptional education.
