Rotary International is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is a not-for-profit corporation that promotes world understanding through international humanitarian service programs and educational and cultural exchanges. It is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and others who share its vision of a better world. Since 1947, the Foundation has awarded more than US$1.1 billion in humanitarian and educational grants, which are initiated and administered by local Rotary clubs and districts.

OBAT Helpers works for the welfare, support, and rehabilitation of displaced and stateless people by providing programs to alleviate the daily suffering and burdens of thousands of Urdu speaking people (known as "Biharis") who are stranded in makeshift camps in Bangladesh. OBAT Helpers implements projects in education and vocational training, self- empowerment through micro-financing, health care with clinics, drinking water, proper sewerage, and emergency relief projects. The Biharis have been stranded in Bangladesh since it achieved independence from Pakistan in 1971. Referred to as, astranded Pakistanis,a this community was supposed to be repatriated to Pakistan after the two countries separated but most of them could not due to political complications. They are presently citizens of nowhere, unclaimed by either country and marked by the UNHCR as refugees, yet deprived of the rights of refugees. They still live in the camps/slums that were supposed to serve as their temporary shelter forty years ago. This population is scattered across sixty-six camps which house around 300,000 people. Anyone visiting these camps would see a family of 7-10 people sharing a living space of 8x10 ft.; open sewers and overflowing drains; a single toilet or two for one hundred or so people; innocent six or seven year olds who should be in schools, working for a living; high-infant mortality rates due to absence of medical facilities; lack of clean drinking water; terrible or no sanitation facilities and nothing but abject poverty. OBAT Helpers is the only organization in North America which is committed to helping the Biharis to become self-reliant and empowered through proper education, health care and micro financing projects. OBAT started with providing help to one camp in 2004, and now, it is improving the lives of people in more than 30 out of the total 66 camps, after just six years. This is almost half of the total number of camps in Bangladesh.

I Wish is a volunteer led global initiative to inspire young females (aged 14-17) to explore a career in STEM. I Wish has evolved since its inception in 2015 from being a once a year Showcase to an all year-round showcase of opportunities in STEM. I Wish is now multi-faceted. It comprises of Showcase Events both in person and streamed virtually in addition to providing a STEM information resource for students and teachers campus weeks with 5 Higher Education Institutes, an alumni circle building stem bridges from primary to secondary and on to Higher Education and through our Survey a policy driver for government and stakeholders in STEM. The Showcase Events comprise: 1. a Conference Zone where the students hear from women and men forging careers in STEM, from groundbreaking researchers to entrepreneurs, data scientists and engineers; and 2. an interactive Exhibition Zone where the students can engage with STEM industries and higher education from leaders in their field like Dell, Trinity, ARUP, Aer Lingus, DIT to entrepreneurs and creatives working in STEM; 3. a Teach IT Zone designed as a resource for teachers; 4. a Create IT Zone demonstrating the creative side of STEM; 5. a Build IT Zone promoting female entrepreneurs in STEM. Since 2015 the I Wish Showcase Events have turned the heads of over 50,000 girls towards STEM and empowered them to become the next generation of thought leaders, innovators and game changers in our ever changing world.

DAC's Mission is to: protect children that have been abused and abandoned by their family; provide quality education to the needy, and take care of poor elderly women. Our Foundation has built and supports: Hogar San Jose: 35 girls between 4 and 17 live permanently at the home. They have been taken away from their families by a judge because they were victims of sexual abuse, abandonment of violence. We are their "Home away from home". A team of 20 care takers, 2 psychologists , 1 social worker, and 1 teacher assists them every day. More than 30 volunteers help them in their daily choresand with their school work and transportation. We all aim to help them recover their self esteem Hogar Santa Ana: 51 elderly ladies, mostly without family, live in our home. They each have a private bedroom, there is one bathroom every 4 bedrooms, and we provide them with breakfast, lunch and dinner. They only pay a symbolic amount. They can get involved in any of the workshops that take place at the home, such as choir, history, literature etc. Our Schools: We have 6 schools with more that 2400 pupils that can have access to bilingual quality education, with extended care so that the parents can drop them off prior to going to work and pick them up when they finish. We feed them, and educate them, completing the official curricula as well as 2nd language (english), sports, computer science. Two of the schools have an integration program and 20 % of their students are special needs students.

We are committed to promoting children's rights and advancing their opportunities for a bright and healthy future. That is why we strive to provide quality, non-profit services to children between the age of 1-17 years, irrespective of their color, ethnicity, race, gender, or background. Elite Star Foundation is an independent organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children. We work with partners in local communities in other to provide children with the resources and support they need to build a strong foundation for their future. We promote a safe and encouraging environment where children feel supported, loved, and empowered. We provide a platform for children to share their stories and receive feedback from their peers. We also offer mentorship programs to ensure that each child has the guidance and support they need to reach their goals. We are dedicated to making sure that every child in our community has the opportunity to reach their full potential and lead a successful life. We are passionate about making a difference and ensuring no child is left behind. Knowing that there are various ways we can drive changes for children in our community, we decided to focus on three key areas: Child Protection, Child Survival, and Child Education. OUR KEY FOCUS AREAS 1. Child Protection The Elite Star Foundation is working towards creating a safe and happy childhood for every Nigerian child, free from abuse and neglect. We aim to play a significant role in giving children all over Nigeria a voice while upholding the highest standard of child protection through advocacy, awareness, and responsive support service. We are here to defend the children whose rights are violated. We protect the most vulnerable children and make the rights of the child accessible. We are committed to preventing, identifying, and responding to any abuse and neglect of children in our society. Our approach is designed to keep children safe from harm, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, neglect, exploitation, and other forms of damage. We take all allegations of abuse and neglect very seriously and will respond to any reports promptly and thoroughly. We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and neglect. We are also committed to providing safe, supportive environments for children. This includes providing the children and communities with training on the signs of abuse and neglect and ensuring our programs are conducted safely and respectfully. We recognize that everyone in society is key to creating a safe and supportive environment for our children. We are committed to providing ongoing training and support to adults and children. We will do our utmost to ensure that everyone is familiar with our Child Protection Approach and is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of children. Child Survival Child survival is a critical issue that requires the attention of all stakeholders in the global community. For too long, children have been dying from preventable diseases and injuries, and the impact of this loss is felt by their families and entire communities and countries. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 calls for "ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages, "focusing on child survival. We recognize that child survival is not an isolated issue but is closely linked to other key development objectives like education, gender equality, and poverty reduction. We must work together to create an enabling environment that provides the necessary support and resources to ensure the survival and well-being of all children. At Elite Star Foundation, every child deserves a chance to live a long, healthy life. That is why we are committed to using a comprehensive approach to promoting the survival and well-being of children worldwide. Our Child Survival Approach combines prevention, early intervention, and response strategies to ensure that children have the best chance of surviving and thriving. Prevention: Prevention is the best way to ensure a child's survival. We work to improve the health and well-being of children by providing health education and preventive health services. Our prevention strategies also focus on reducing poverty, increasing access to quality education, and promoting good nutrition and hygiene. Early Intervention: Early intervention is key to ensuring a child's survival. We provide rapid response services to children at risk of malnutrition, disease, or other health problems. Our early intervention services include providing nutritional supplements and access to medical care. Response: We are there to respond when a child is in crisis. We provide emergency services to children who are victims of natural disasters, conflicts, or other health crises. We provide medical care, food, clean water, shelter, and other essential services to needy children. Child Education At Elite Star Foundation, we believe that a child's education is the foundation of their future success. The Movimento de Saude Mental Comunitaria do Bom Jardim (MSMCBJ) was initiated in 1996 as part of the outreach of the Comboni Missionaries in the Northeast of Brazil. MSMCBJ seeks to improve the lives of the people of the economically impoverished peripheral regions of Fortaleza, primarily the area of Grande Bom Jardim. To imagine a mental health project in a peripheral neighborhood like Bom Jardim, where the majority of people live in at-risk circumstances - in which extreme poverty, violence, a lack of housing and basic sanitation, street children, and unemployment predominate - is to believe that, even within pain and suffering, we can harvest flowers. That is, personal and social realities can be transformed. The challenge that MSMCBJ has been overcoming throughout its years of community action has been to demonstrate that, through the Community Systemic Approach, working with people's self-esteem results in greater self-awareness, which empowers people to create paths of liberation, thanks to the sense of participation and co-responsibility that MSMCBJ activities favor. MEDRIX works to save lives and improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people in Vietnam by providing Medical, Educational and Development Resources through International eXchange. In 2000, MEDRIX became an official non-profit organization in Washington State and in 2002 MEDRIX received official Non-Government Organization licensure to operate in Vietnam. Prior to this, co-founder and Executive Director LaRelle Catherman was invited to conduct research alongside Vietnamese physicians on home treatment for diarrhea in Hue, Vietnam. It became evident that most children suffered from diarrhea due to lack of safe water. Co-founder of MEDRIX, meteorologist, and businessman Robert Catherman undertook the task of finding a method of providing safe, drinkable water. He, along with many MEDRIX volunteers, began to work with provincial leaders to develop an affordable and sustainable water treatment system. MEDRIX began to grow as a result of these initial project ideas and new programs were put into place to address the greater healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene needs of under-served rural villages. MEDRIX accomplishes its goal of saving lives and improving the quality of life in Vietnam through the following endeavors: -Health and hygiene education for children in hand washing, oral care, and nutrition. -Providing education for women in nutrition, food preparation, food safety, along with health and hygiene during pregnancy. -Autism education training for health workers and community education efforts to ease the burden of autism in children. -Life-saving heart surgeries for disadvantaged children and young adults. -Pediatric education workshops in World Health Organization approved curricula for health workers in rural Vietnam. -Nursing education workshops for professional nurses at National Pediatric Hospital and Hue Central Hospital. -GIS mapping workshops to teach Vietnamese healthcare workers how to gather pertinent health information for epidemiological tracking purposes.

TIBU Maroc is a Moroccan NGO that uses the power of sport to develop innovative social solutions in the field of education, empowerment and socio-economic inclusion of young people through sports. Founded in 2011, TIBU Maroc is the leading organization in Morocco in the education and integration of young people through sports. TIBU Maroc recognizes that the power of sport provides transformational sustainability to practitioners, children, youth, women, and people with specific needs; namely: better health, closer communities, greater athletic achievements and a stronger identity. As the main organization in the education and integration of youth through sport in Morocco with a wide national coverage in more than 14 cities and 8 regions of the kingdom, TIBU Morocco, in line with its ambition to become the locomotive of sport for development in Africa by 2030, is committed to contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and considers them as an opportunity to place sport as a powerful tool to design innovative solutions to the complex challenges of the 21st century. Major achievements: -93 members & collaborators including 9 volunteers, -Active in 15 cities of the kingdom, 250,000 young beneficiaries take part in our programs each year, -22 centers have been created for the development of 21st century skills through sport, -88% of our young beneficiaries in the centers have increased their school grades (from an average of 3, 4 to an average of 7, 8 and 9), -0% dropout - all our beneficiaries continue with their education in Moroccan schools, -60% of our young beneficiaries of the Socio-Economic Integration through Sport programs integrate into the sports industry job market following 12 months of training, -5 different types of structures have been launched since the establishment of TIBU: Centers for Education through Sport, Sports and leadership academies, Playgrounds for empowerment through sport, 2nd chance school oriented towards sports professions and HandiSport school for children with disabilities.

The Stonewall Group is the largest organization fighting for the rights of LGBT+ people in the Wielkopolska region. The Group has been active since 2015 in the following areas: advocacy, education, help/intervention, culture, and healthcare. The Group comprises 41 members and around 50 volunteers cooperate with us. The board comprises five members. Each of them is responsible for a few areas of activity. Our flagship activity is the Poznan Pride Week festival (we organized a few hundred events in the course of five editions of the festival), which culminated in the Equality March (13,000 people participated in 2019). We help LGBT+ people and their families. For four years now, we have been co-operating with six therapists holding psychological consultations which have been provided for around 200 individuals now. We run five support groups for: youth, transgender people, families of LGBT+ people, bisexual people, and LGBT+ people from Ukraine. We provide legal help for LGBT+ people, who are often victims of hate crimes (the legal help is also partially financed by municipal grants); since 2016 we have provided a few hundred hours of support in total, which also consisted in representing a client. We organize many cultural activities: produce concerts, theatre plays, and organize meetings with authors. We are also active in the area of healthcare - thanks to the grant from the city of Poznan, we are organizing a training project for therapists about so-called ChemSex. In 2019, we were commissioned by Panstwowy Zakad Higieny (State Institute of Hygiene) to conduct research about ChemSex. We provide free testing for HIV, syphilis, and HCV. We train companies about antidiscrimination (e.g., Allegro, Franklin Templeton). In 2019, we organized the first edition of Letnia Akademia Rownosci (Summer Equality Academy) - we visited seven cities in Poland, combating harmful stereotypes about LGBT+ people (funded by Sprite). We conduct business activity - we manage the bar Lokum Stonewall bar which has become not only a meeting place for the Poznan LGBT+ community, but also the main stage of Polish queer culture for such events like weekly drag queen performances. The bar also boosts our visibility - it is located on the main pedestrian street in the center of Poznan (facebook.com/LokumStonewall). What is more, as a part of our business activities, we run an online shop (outandproud.pl) and organize trainings for companies.

WereldOuders focuses on the empowerment and personal development of vulnerable children and families in Latin America and the Caribbean. With us, they receive attention and the support that suits them. WereldOuders has a unique approach, based on four pillars: a safe home, health, education and independence. By providing a social safety net while building the children's self-confidence, they regain a future perspective, an opportunity to realize their dreams. WereldOuders has projects in nine countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. These are Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. A home is the most important safe base for a child. When a home situation is scarred by poverty, addiction, violence or the death of one of the parents, the secure base falls away. WereldOuders and partner organization NPH are committed to creating or restoring a safe home base for children and youth in Latin America. Our vision of "a safe home" has changed significantly over the past years. NPH was founded in Mexico in 1954 with the opening of a children's home for children who had nowhere else to go. The organization continued to expand to include children's homes in the other eight countries. More than 19,000 children found shelter in an NPH home. These homes were called "family homes" by the organization. NPH placed great importance on creating a warm, loving family atmosphere in the homes. No matter how well this worked out, a family home can never replace a real family. With today's knowledge, arising from empirical evidence and in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we recognize the unintended harmful effect that institutionalization has on children and youth. Children and youth become alienated from their families and communities of origin. Stigmas attached to growing up in a children's home lead to (young) adults struggling to find their place in society. Having no family to fall back on makes it difficult to hold your own in society as an "uprooted" adult. 'Our' children can always come to NPH even later in life, but that is an exception in the world of children's homes. Uprootedness in general is a major problem: this group has difficulty raising their own children and keeping them from ending up in crime or on the streets. International child welfare organizations are therefore increasingly focusing on de-institutionalization. NPH, too, is going through this transition. We can and want to do more to really change the situation of families and children. We have to change course. We have therefore started to focus more and more on supporting vulnerable families and communities to prevent families from falling apart. This is not entirely new: since its founding, NPH has supported more than 80,000 children who did not live in an NPH family home.

Mission: "Girl Scouts build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place." The Value proposition is that Girl Scouts is where girls find their voices and make them matter. The Girl Scouts of Central Maryland has served the Metropolitan area since 1962. In the ensuing five decades, the neighborhoods and communities of Baltimore City and certain surrounding counties have changed. The GSCM has endeavored to change to be responsive to these changing demographics and keep current with the needs of girls in Central Maryland. GSCM conducted extensive research into the needs of girls and young women who live in Baltimore City. The families in these areas are typically single-parent families with income levels near the poverty line. Many parents work more than one job to make ends meet. And then there is the special group of girls, often forgotten, who are separated from their mother for reasons over which they had no control. Delivering the extra-curricular activities that are necessary for girls to achieve later in life is a founding principle and goal of Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. This includes learning the real meaning behind the Girl Scout Law of "I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout. In underserved communities there is a lack of availability of programs, and lack of transportation. GSCM intends to continue to fill this void with its Beyond Bars program and needs your support to assure we can continue to transport girls from their neighborhoods to the facility which houses their mother. Overall, for the entire council, the goals for 2015-2018 were established for a target population of girls in kindergarten through 12th grade, the goals and are: (a) to empower a culturally diverse population of girls through engagement in a Girl Scout leadership pathway; (b) to increase the reach of GSCM's programs and unique experiences by enrolling an increased number of girls, particularly girls from underserved communities, as members of the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland; and (c) to recruit, screen and orient new and existing adult volunteers, who are guided and trained to mentor a culturally diverse Girl Scout population.

Feed The World's mission is to empower poor smallholder farm families to feed themselves and provide for the future through sustainable farming. Guiding Principles - Seeds of Dignity and Hope are planted in the hearts of our smallholder farm families as they work together to provide for themselves and build a better future. Transparency & Accountability means that we will do exactly what we promise to do in the communities we serve and that we will be open and honest with our donors in communicating how funds are being used. Lasting Self Reliance is achieved as families obtain sufficient knowledge and education, manage resources wisely, and prepare for the future so that they will continue to thrive after our support ends. Sustainable Farming is practiced by smallholder farm families as they plan, plant, and harvest food for themselves and their livestock, while building human capacity to recognize and enhance the efficient use of their natural resources. Nutrition & Income are the core benefits to smallholder farm families as they grow and produce foodstuffs that provide for a nutritionally balanced diet on an economically sustainable basis. Scientifically Proven Methodology guides the implementation of agricultural best practices with our smallholder farm families and on our demonstration farms. We also support further scientific research through partnerships with universities, governments, and other non-governmental organizations (NGO's). Mutual Respect is the goal of our in-country agronomists, nutritionists, and animal scientists as they interact with smallholder farm families, seeking to understand the "why" behind traditional practices, and always exploring new possibilities. Training & Education in sustainable farming, nutrition, food preparation, and hygiene are key to ensuring that lasting self reliance is achieved by smallholder farm families. Honoring Culture means that our programs work within the local cultural framework to empower and educate smallholder farm families without imposing an outside culture on them. Family Focus involves both women and men in all aspects of decision making, training, and education; and keeps children and parents united and working together on their land. Feeding the Spirit means that while Feed the World does not identify itself with one particular religion or belief system, we honor the spirituality of all human beings and serve all program participants irrespective of their beliefs or social station. Pay It Forward means that we expect our smallholder farm families to pass on their seeds, stock, and knowledge to other families in need once they have successfully provided for themselves.
