Helping Rhinos USA is dedicated to leading conservation and education initiatives that will ensure the long-term survival of rhino and other endangered wildlife in their natural habitat. Helping Rhinos USA accomplishes this through the following activities: In collaboration with our partner company, Helping Rhinos UK, our work engages with local communities, directly linking wildlife conservation and local economies through fundraising: accepting donations on our website, personal solicitations through local fundraising events, foundation grant solicitations, and government grant solicitations. Nearly all money raised will further field conservation actions where rhinos are most threatened. We stimulate support for rhino conservation across North America by initiating educational initiatives that highlight the importance of conserving rhino and other endangered species. We work with local communities where rhino live to emphasize the benefits that can be derived from a sustainable co-existence between man and wildlife. We work directly with local conservation organizations to rescue and protect rhino in their natural habitat by delivering tangible results in anti-poaching and habitat preservation.

Since its founding in 2008, Innovation: Africa has completed over 250 solar installations bringing light, access to clean water, improved education, refrigeration for vaccines and medicines, and proper nutrition and food security to over 1.5 million people in the most remote villages in Africa. iA currently operates in ten countries: Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Cameroon, Zambia and eSwatini.
The Friends of the Pterocarpus Forest, also known as the Amigos del Bosque de Pterocarpus (incorporated as PHA Pterocarpus Forest, Inc.) are a group of citizens committed to the conservation and maintenance of the 50.18-acre Pterocarpus Officinalis* forest at Palmas del Mar. The mission of the Friends is to ensure that this rare Forest ecosystem remains accessible -- in perpetuity -- to the people of Puerto Rico and visitors to the island for passive recreation, environmental education and research. To this end, the Friends seek funds and other resources for educational and public benefit projects that promote awareness of and knowledge about this unique ecosystem, as well as funds with which to maintain and enhance for the benefit of the public, the Forest's website and presence on social media; its interpretative signage; and the 3/4-mile elevated boardwalk, rest areas, observation tower, visitors' center, and other facilities. The Friends, in collaboration with the Palmas Homeowners' Association, the Puerto Rico Conservation Trust, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and other committed parties began the restoration of the forest in 2010. Our efforts made it possible, in less than 5 years, to turn a devastated and moribund environment that had suffered decades of neglect (particularly since Hurricane Georges in 1998) into a lush and vibrant ecosystem and a unique ecotourism destination. *The Pterocarpus Officinalis is known as the Swamp Bloodwood tree in English. In Puerto Rico it is known as Palo de Pollo, or Chicken tree, because of the shape of its large aerial roots, which resemble chicken feet.
The Norman Bird Sanctuary was established in 1949 at the bequest of Mabel Norman Cerio. Its mission, under the charge of her will, was to maintain 235 acres of land for the propagation, preservation, and protection of birds, and where birds and bird life may be observed, studied, taught, and enjoyed by lovers of nature and by the public generally so interested in a spirit of humanity and mercy. Over the years, NBS has grown to include more than 325 acres of diverse habitats, and its mission remains true to Mabel Norman Cerio's original vision. Today, the mission of the Norman Bird Sanctuary is to preserve and protect its habitats and resources for the benefit of birds and other wildlife, and for people's education and enjoyment.
Richmond Audubon Society (RAS) was established in 1973, and is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. RAS is dedicated to the observation and conversation of birds and other wildlife. Our members participate in local conservation efforts, habitat restoration, and monitoring of applicable legislation. We have over 1400 members throughout Central Virginia, made up of a diverse group of people from various backgrounds, interests and birding experience levels. RAS is active in citizen science projects, education, and outreach to citizens from kids to seniors about birds, habitat and nature. RAS is also active in sharing information on environmental legislative issues and working to address global warming and protection of endangered species.

Creating opportunities for members and guests to use the venue in the furtherance of our goals, and for the creation of new activities. g.) Sponsoring events that introduce youth and the community at large to outdoor activities, unite diverse groups with common goals, and strengthen the existing outdoor community by participation in shared interests. h.) Providing volunteer instructors and staff to accomplish these objectives.

We believe in continuous training and orientation for staff members and people. We also have an HR department that regularly organizes internal and external training sessions for staff members of all levels and people on leadership, group building, problem solving, and gender-related matters, among others.
