Washington Women in Need's vision is to assist women throughout the state, who have high hopes but low incomes, to achieve their goals for higher education and better health. We provide grants for post-secondary tuition and related academic costs, and for wellness needs that are not met by current healthcare programs. Our newest education grant program, star scholars, extends tuition assistance for the full four years of an undergraduate degree.
Yakote Women Farmers mission is to provide assistance to the Nabdem district of the Upper East region of , West Africa. This assistance is primarily directed to supporting the women in developing self-sufficiency through improved farming techniques, improved sanitation and clean water, education, health care and small business starts and improved nutrition and school feeding programs.
