For more than 20 years, women have been coming to HealthyWomen for answers to their most pressing and personal health care questions. Through its wide array of online resources, HW provides health information that is original, objective, reviewed by medical experts and reflective of the advances in evidence-based health research. HealthyWomen has a history of providing unbiased and accurate health information. Over the years they have earned the trust of consumers, health care providers, nonprofits, corporate partners and the media. HealthyWomen is widely referenced in print, broadcast and online venues and has been named a top women's health site.

Womens Resource Center Of Northern Michigan

The WRC shall serve women, families and all those who choose to participate in, and can benefit from, the Center?s programs. These programs shall attempt to: protect and nurture health and well being; encourage active participation in making life choices; advocate for the positive solution of crisis situations; facilitate personal growth and life-long education; and provide a link to needed community resources.

The Beauty Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers families who are actively fighting cancer through direct monetary grants. Our mission is to ease the stressful financial strains associated with cancer and to allow patients and their families to focus on the most important thing - their journey through cancer. Grants can be used at the recipient's discretion for anything they may need during their treatment including housecleaning, groceries, transportation costs, etc. The beauty foundation also supports the development of educational materials and provides support to local cancer centers. Our goal is to help inspire the courage, strength and confidence needed to fight cancer.
