Raising A Reader is a national nonprofit organization that has successfully helped families build, practice, and maintain literacy routines in their homes since 1999, with special attention to children at the highest risk for educational failure; over 70% are low-income and nearly half speak another language. We stand firm in our unwavering commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusivity and improving the lives of children in all communities. RAR is an evidence-based, scalable and affordable program with 39 independent evaluations demonstrating our impact over time and across settings. More than 1.7 million children have participated in RAR's proven and award-winning programs with the support of over 285 Affiliates working in 3,000+ local sites across 36 states.

ACCO's mission is to provide information and support for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to provide grassroots leadership through advocacy and awareness, and to support research leading to a cure for all children diagnosed with this life-threatening disease.

Helping homeless women and their children rebuild their lives. Founded in 1983, Win began as a shelter for four homeless women and their combined six children. Since then, Win has evolved to become a leading, non-profit agency and the largest provider of shelter for homeless families in New York City. We serve close to 12,000 homeless women and their children each year. Win has sharpened its focus from offering shelter and support to homeless women and children, to providing comprehensive programs and services that enable homeless families to succeed in life and break the cycle of homelessness. Groundbreaking programs developed by Win are: Win Academy, Income Building Program, Children’s Afterschool, Mentorship and Recreation.
