Hip Hop Public Health creates research-based educational resources by harnessing the power of music and culture to improve health in communities that are underserved. Our vision is to achieve universal health literacy and health equity.

American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP) is a non-profit organization with an outreach of over 7000 health professionals and students working to leverage the educational background and skills of Muslims in the health care sector to improve the health of Americans.

End Overdose is committed to preventing drug-related death through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. We connect communities with the necessary resources to fight chemical dependency. United, we can End Overdose.

Our Mission is to meet through the power of Jesus Christ the needs of the whole person: spiritual, educational, emotional, physical, social, and vocational, so that those who are hurting may become fully functioning members of society.

Founded in 1996, this community based organization provides health care services through its legacy namesake, The James A. Watson Wellness Center. The non-profit charity foundation, Preventive Care Pathways, also provides educational outreach to underserved and/or marginalized communities throughout the Bay Area. Our goal is to decrease the disparities in health care services, education and mortality outcomes among those most marginalized or underserved through culturally sensitive care and education. We seek to start at the beginning, with the Youth of our community and "Keep Youth Alive" and firmly believe that "Art Saves Lives". The primary function of Preventive Care Pathways in serving the community is to bring together the resources that are most beneficial to our youth followed by incorporating Youth and their needs within the community of Adults in business and medicine, and especially in science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and mathematics or, in short, "S.T.R.E.A.M." "Remember, your health is your wealth and if you knew better you would do better! (c)". So we move to bring all of the educational instruments to our Youth and those who are there to support them, starting with our Youth in Arts Project. Please give generously and give frequently. A New Way of Life Reentry Project provides housing and support services to formerly incarcerated women in  South Central Los Angeles, facilitating a successful transition back to community life. Since our founding in 1998, we have helped transform the lives of more than 600 women and their children. View our organizational brochure for more information. As a community advocate, A New Way Of Life works to restore the civil rights of people with criminal records to housing, employment, public benefits, and the right to vote.

Days for Girls is turning periods into pathways: We increase access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating Social Entrepreneurs, mobilizing volunteers and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigma and limitations for women and girls.

Our Mission Through grassroots education, advocacy and direct services, Breathe California fights lung disease, advocates for clean air, and advances public health. Our Vision Communities empowered to eliminate the causes and burden of lung disease, promote clean air and improve public health. Our Theory of Change We believe the Breathe CA comprehensive approach of direct services, advocacy, and education, increases knowledge, confidence and ability in lung health management & treatment, resulting in lower rates of morbidity and mortality, and advancing health equity.

GOAL's art and outreach activities educate the community about the abilities of people with disabilities.VISION STATEMENTOur vision is to create a more open society where people with developmental disabilities can enjoy full inclusion in their communities. To accomplish this, L.A. GOAL teaches the world about how people with developmental disabilities can better our lives. It is a magical reciprocity that we believe has long been overlooked.
