The mission of Samaritan House is to foster personal safety, growth and self-sufficiency in adults and their children through the freedom from sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking and homelessness.

Sanctuary for Families is dedicated to the safety, healing and self-determination of victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence.  Through comprehensive services for the clients and their children, and through outreach, education and advocacy, they strive to create a world in which freedom from gender violence is a basic human right.

Daya supports South Asian women, their children and families who are trying to break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence and reclaim their lives. Daya empowers these women by offering counseling and advocacy, promoting community awareness, and by advocating at the policy level. Daya's approach fosters individual freedom and respect leading to healthy families.

The Women’s Center of Montgomery County (WCMC) is a volunteer, community organization with a primary focus on freedom from domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Their programs, policies and procedures reflect their strong commitment to empowering women. Their organizational purpose is to eliminate domestic violence so that individuals can live safer, more stable lives and thrive. Through their programs and services, they work to save lives, promote self-sufficiency, create institutional change and reduce the impact of domestic violence. Secondary goals include providing enrichment opportunities for the staff and volunteers; promoting positive change toward gender equality; and building our capacity by increasing volunteerism, funding and awareness.
