Restoration and Purpose for Women, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transforming the lives of those who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse, and homelessness.

Since 1971. To empower women to attain safety, equality and justice, and build independent and self - sustaining lives for themselves and their child - ren and to pioneer collaborations with community partners to create an intolerance of gender - based violence, substance abuse and poverty

Mission The Center’s mission is to respond to, reduce, and prevent domestic and sexual violence. This mission will be achieved through education, collaboration, and advocacy, with crisis and supportive services to victims and survivors. Sheltering Wings provides emergency housing for survivors escaping domestic abuse. We build stable and independent lives through essential programs offered in a supportive and Christ-centered environment.

Our mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy.

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Inc., is a volunteer organization, inspired by Jewish values, that works through a program of research, education, advocacy and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children and families and strives to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all.

Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) is committed to ending domestic violence. Using a self-help, empowerment approach, we provide a shelter for adults and children, counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence. We work for social change through education, service collaboration, and institutional advocacy.

Avalon Center works to end domestic and sexual violence by breaking the cycle of abuse through education, prevention, shelter and support services in the greater Williamsburg and Middle Peninsula communities.

The Shelter’s mission is to lead and collaborate with the community to prevent, protect and prevail over domestic violence and human trafficking.
