Our mission is humanitarian assistance by promoting basic human needs of the people in developing countries and in disaster areas through our specialty of information and communication technology (ICT) e.g. assistance to medical facilities, emergency relief activities for disaster victims and training of young ICT leaders in developing countries.

The Purple Feet Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on getting students to think about their future. Each summer we host the thinc Program - a week-long residential experience for underserved middle school students from urban school districts.

GRAACC's mission is to guarantee that children and adolescents with cancer have the right to all the possibilities of cure with quality of life, using the most advanced scientific standard and minimum impact to the childhood experience.

Our mission is to develop and promote DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) format in Taiwan to enable people with acquired visual disabilities equal access to information and knowledge. Our goals include to produce talking books in DAISY format, to train visually impaired people to access computers and internet with screen reader of NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access), and to provide people suffering from visual loss with vocational training and counseling.

Childline Kenya's mission is to promote children's rights and enhance child protection in Kenya by delivering quality services through harnessing the power of ICT innovations. The organisation was established in 2004 with a remit to provide a 24-hour toll-free helpline for counselling and referral services to children, young persons and their families. We have since added chat and email counselling to our services and have developed a broad portfolio of outreach and educational projects. By offering a communication channel to children in distress, Childline Kenya aspires to become an organisation that not only extends support and sanctuary to victims of abuse, but one that adds weight to the message that crimes against children will not go unchallenged. To this end, we work with a network of members and partners from across the child welfare and children's rights community to offer the full spectrum of support and advice. Our vision is a society where every child is heard and children's rights and dignity are upheld at all times. Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development exists to supporting HIV/AIDS education, Persons living with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children, youth and women in Solwezi district of Zambia by providing them with, educational support (provision of school requisites and literacy materials), health and life skills and vocational Training. These enables disadvantaged members of our society live life of independence and contribute to the national economy. We envision a society that will work towards eradication of vulnerability and illiteracy among Orphans and vulnerable children, youths and women. The Organization's mission is to promote and enhance the capabilities of children, youth and women in Solwezi district and beyond to effect positive social change that would necessitate the development of their lives, communities and the nation at large.

The Movimento de Saude Mental Comunitaria do Bom Jardim (MSMCBJ) was initiated in 1996 as part of the outreach of the Comboni Missionaries in the Northeast of Brazil. MSMCBJ seeks to improve the lives of the people of the economically impoverished peripheral regions of Fortaleza, primarily the area of Grande Bom Jardim. To imagine a mental health project in a peripheral neighborhood like Bom Jardim, where the majority of people live in at-risk circumstances - in which extreme poverty, violence, a lack of housing and basic sanitation, street children, and unemployment predominate - is to believe that, even within pain and suffering, we can harvest flowers. That is, personal and social realities can be transformed. The challenge that MSMCBJ has been overcoming throughout its years of community action has been to demonstrate that, through the Community Systemic Approach, working with people's self-esteem results in greater self-awareness, which empowers people to create paths of liberation, thanks to the sense of participation and co-responsibility that MSMCBJ activities favor. Our mission is to change culture from the inside out through person-to-person sponsoring and educational programs that include the development of mind, body, spirit and emotions. At Listen and Talk, our mission is to teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate and learn through listening and spoken language. With the aid of advanced hearing technology and committed families involved in specialized programs provided by Listen and Talk, almost all children with hearing loss can learn to listen and use spoken language, allowing them to fully participate in a hearing world. Listen and Talk achieves these remarkable results by combining proven auditory-based educational methods with the use of advanced hearing technology including: digital/programmable hearing aids, cochlear implants, personal FM systems, and sound field systems for classrooms. For optimal success, we strive to apply our teaching methods to children in infancy-as soon as they are identified with hearing loss. Most Listen and Talk "graduates": Enter their neighborhood school by kindergarten, Learn and compete side-by-side with peers in regular classrooms, Converse and learn through spoken and written language, Reach their full language and learning potential and fully integrate into the wider community. Lifelong goals for each child include: The ability to learn and gain information through listening,the ability to effectively communicate without the need for an interpreter, the ability to think and reason independently, the use of age-appropriate literacy skills for communication, learning and enjoyment, intelligible speech, problem solving skills, and social engagement.

The China California Heart Watch brings together experts from the United States, China, and around the world. Together, we use innovative and sustainable methods to combat the growing epidemic of heart disease in Yunnan Province, China. Our overarching mission is to serve the people of Yunnan through: (1) Training local healthcare professionals in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease; (2) Improving access to high-quality healthcare and life-saving treatments; (3) Researching the epidemiology of heart disease, the effectiveness of our interventions, and other topics of critical value to rural Chinese populations. The activities of the China California Heart Watch generate no profits. We operate solely through the generosity and vision of our donors, foundations, and granting agencies. Washington state ranks among the top states in the nation in the concentration of STEM jobs, and opportunities are increasing rapidly. By 2030, 70% of high-demand, family-sustaining wage jobs available in our state will require postsecondary degree credentials; 67% of those will require postsecondary STEM credentials. But Washington students are not equitably or adequately prepared to take advantage of these opportunities. Today, only 40% of all students are on track to attain postsecondary credential. Worse yet, students of color, rural students, girls and young women, and students living in poverty still lack access to these pathways—they face disparities early on and fall further behind as they move through the education system. In our state STEM is at the forefront of discovery, on the frontlines of creative 21st century problem-solving, and serves as one of the largest pathways to family-sustaining wage careers and long-term economic security. STEM pathways have promise like few others in Washington and it is imperative that Black, Brown, and indigenous students, rural and low-income students, and girls have access. Washington STEM is working to ensure that all students have equal opportunity to benefit from the transformational possibilities that STEM has to offer.
