Rainforest Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation that has been protecting and restoring rainforests in Australia and internationally since 1998 by providing opportunities for individuals and businesses to Protect Rainforests Forever. Our mission is to inspire, engage and build community for the protection, preservation and restoration of rainforests through fundraising and education. Our objectives are: 1. The protection and enhancement of the natural environment. 2. The conservation of rainforests and the preservation of the biodiversity of rainforest ecosystems. 3. The restoration, rehabilitation, enhancement and management of remnant and regrowth rainforest. 4. The revegetation of ex-rainforest lands, including without limitation the establishment and ongoing management of rainforests plantings or signficant ecological value. The strategies that we employ to achieve these objectives is to: 1. Seek funding in the form of donation and sponsorships from individuals, businesses and philanthropic trusts and foundations. 2. Purchase and protect high conservation value rainforest and preserve its biodiveristy; and 3. Finance projects that re-establish rainforests through planting, maintenance and restoration programs. Rainforest Rescue meaures its performance of these objectives and strategies through ongoing governance, financial management and corporate compliance, therefore achieving the environmental objectives of the organisation's constitution being the protection and preservation of rainforests. Rainforest Rescue is an Austtralian registered company limited by guarantee and a registered charity with deductible gift recipient status. We are also on the Australian Register of Environmental Organisations.

Taghyeer Organization/ We Love Reading Program is an innovative model that provides a practical, cost efficient, sustainable, grassroots approach empowering communities from low and mid income communities around the world to create changemakers through reading. WLR supports the activism of local volunteers to increase reading levels among children 2-10 by focusing on the readaloud experience to instill the love of reading for pleasure among children to become lifelong learners. We aim to create system change. We create changemakers by recruiting and training adults and youth from local communities to provide read-aloud sessions for local children in safe, public spaces. Each year, WLR volunteers read to tens of thousands of children in public parks, community centers, mosques and other faith-based settings, nurseries, refugee camps, and other locales. We serve diverse populations and communities irrespective of gender, religion, social status, disability, literacy level, educational experience, etc. The training is either implemented in face-to-face settings or via our online platform to allow reaching wider audience of people wanting to volunteer and become reading ambassadors.

Hands Across the Water initially supported 32 kids who had lost their parents and were living in a tent at Baan Tharn Namchai in Phang-Nga, a town on Thailand's northern Andaman coast. The kids were left without food, shelter or support. Hands, along with a number of equally committed supporters pooled their resources to build the first orphanage at Baan Tharn Namchai. Today, Baan Tharn Namchai is home to over 100 children and Hands now supports over 250 at-risk children across seven homes throughout Thailand. Hands has a policy of 100% of all donations going to the children and their communities.
The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.

The Firesticks Alliance partners with diverse communities, landholders, agencies and institutions across the continent. Together Firesticks is identifying pathways to apply cultural fire to landscape, to help heal and care for Country and empowering communities through mentorship and shared understandings that are improving fire management in Australia. At Firesticks, our purpose is to empower the community in supporting the recognition and revitalisation of Cultural fire through the sharing of knowledge and practice across Australia.
