World Gay Boxing Championship Limited

These are the objects of our constitution... (a) To eliminate or seek to eliminate discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation or identification in the sport of boxing; (b) To promote good health through the sport of boxing; (c) Collaborating with boxing governing bodies, boxing clubs and other partner organisations to increase the participation and acceptance of LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) people at all levels in the sport of boxing; (d) To promote the sport of boxing to and amongst the LGBTQI and wider community; (e) Co-ordinating and organising boxing tournaments and championships all over the world aligned with Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) rules, sanctioned by a boxing authority, ensuring that no individual shall be excluded, shamed or intimidated from participating based on sexual orientation or identification; (f) To provide opportunities for LGBTQI people to compete in the sport of boxing in a safe and friendly environment; (g) Providing members with support and resources in the sport of boxing; (h) Manage all interests and business of the Association and its members in areas such as, for example, club organisation, recruitment and retention of members, fundraising, event management, all spheres of government liaison and public relations.

Hands Across the Water

Hands Across the Water initially supported 32 kids who had lost their parents and were living in a tent at Baan Tharn Namchai in Phang-Nga, a town on Thailand's northern Andaman coast. The kids were left without food, shelter or support. Hands, along with a number of equally committed supporters pooled their resources to build the first orphanage at Baan Tharn Namchai. Today, Baan Tharn Namchai is home to over 100 children and Hands now supports over 250 at-risk children across seven homes throughout Thailand. Hands has a policy of 100% of all donations going to the children and their communities.

The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.
