War Child Holland

We believe no child should be part of war. Ever. Children have the right to grow up in peace, free from fear and violence. To develop their full potential and become the person they want to be. War Child is committed to improve life of hundreds of thousands children in conflicted areas. War Child helps them to process their intense experiences, dare to reconnect with other children again and build self-confidence. They ensure that they learn how to read, write, count and learn a trade. Besides that, they create a safe environment where children can build a stable and above all, peaceful future. War Child does this worldwide. From Colombia to Afghanistan. Not because they like it that much. But because children are entitled to it. That is why they offer psychosocial support, education and protection to refugee and vulnerable children in fourteen countries. Because every child is entitled to a place where they can play safely, learn and recover from all misery.

Stichting Women on Wings

We aim to co-create one million jobs for women in rural India. A job means an income, economic autonomy and an escape from the cycle of poverty. We are pursuing our mission by providing business knowledge and mentoring to Indian social entrepreneurs that mainly employ women. By doing this we are accelerating the growth of their organizations and thereby co-creating more jobs for women in rural India. This is done through mentoring of the CEO/management and by providing series of interactive workshops with teams. We also bring together multiple business partners facing similar issues with a view to share best practices and look for collaboration opportunities among partners. Next to working with these enterprises, we provide the same - but on a much larger scale - to state governments on developing their women entrepreneurship programs. The aim is the same: improving the business of Indian social enterprises, so more products will be sold, thereby creating more jobs. Thus, we co-create lasting impact. Based on the need assessment and gap analysis we jointly prioritize the topics of workshops with our business partners. We have no standard solutions. Each enterprise has its own specific challenges. We have a tailor-made approach and call that 'craftsmanship in consultancy'. We believe in long-term relationships; therefore, we aim to work together for a minimum of three years. The uniqueness of the Women on Wings approach is that we fuse global knowledge and local implementation. Our experts, who work pro bono, share their 15+ years of professional experience in e.g. marketing, social media, finance, organizational management, product development, production, retail and supply chain management. Our business partners always need to own all plans that we jointly develop. Therefore, Women on Wings' experts facilitate the partner with their business knowledge, but only the business partner and its team are responsible for implementation of the plan. We are always there to jointly provide solutions to bottlenecks that may arise during implementation.
