SAAF Mission Statement: Our purpose is to promote the betterment of the lives African Americans. We fulfill our mission by offering workshops, programs and outreach campaigns. We emphasize biblical teachings and God's Plan for our lives. Although our services are open to everyone, basically our programs are designed for African Americans. Why? Statistics show that African Americans are more at risk than any other culture group in this country in every major category of life. Whether its health, divorce rate, out of wedlock births, poverty or single headed households, African Americans are well below the national averages. A large number of African Americans profess to be practicing Christians, and are passionate about their faith. Saving African American Families is committed to calling our culture back to blending our faith into our family life, marriage, health as well as everyday living. We offer education, training and awareness in the following areas to support our goals: Marriage Education Marriage Enhancement Pre-Marital Education Healthy Relationships and Lifestyles Family Finances Effective Parenting Strengthening the Family Family Health and Wellness Responsible Fatherhood We partner with churches, other faith based organizations, community and businesses to provide education and information to strengthen our families and in turn benefits our entire community. Empowering Young Girls and Women of Zimbabwe Through Education To Overcome Poverty, Domestic Abuse and Child Marriage

The mission of MAAHF is to build upon the rich African-American cultural legacy through support of quality local programs funded through grass roots organized events. Providing quality historical, health, and cultural education within interactive forum settings will in turn strengthen our community as a whole. Additionally, through individual, corporate and business support, we will provide scholastic scholarships and foster opportunities to create model programs which encourage harmonious living.

The African American Alliance for Homeownership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community based organization in Portland, Oregon. We are a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved Housing Counseling Agency with HUD-certified counselors providing first-time homebuyer and foreclosure prevention services to the public. In recent years, AAAH has expanded its services to support homeowners seeking estate plans, resource navigation, home repairs, and energy efficiency upgrades. Collectively, our programs help families, Obtain, Retain, Maintain, and Sustain their homes.

The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that all people affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope; our communities are ready and prepared for disasters; everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products; all members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort whenever needed; and in an emergency, there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Cross skills to save lives. The American Red Cross' fundamental principles are: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality. Our motto, "You Have the Power to Save a Life" is built upon and reflects such these values.

The mission of the American Diabetes Association (the Association) is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin.  Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.  The cause of diabetes continues to elude the medical community, although research has shown that both genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise appear to play roles.

Founded in 1981 by Ethiopian refugees to give a helping hand to other newcomers, today African Services is a multiservice agency based in Harlem and dedicated to assisting immigrants, refugees and asylees from across the African Diaspora

African Entrepreneur Collective was founded in summer 2012 by social entrepreneurs Julienne Oyler and Sara Leedom, whose experience living and working in Africa convinced them that supporting young entrepreneurs was the most sustainable way to move African nations out of poverty. Executive Director Julienne Oyler has an MBA from Yale University and more than 10 years of experience in education and international development. Managing Director Sara Leedom has an MBA for Oxford’s Said Business School and 15 years experience growing and managing social impact organizations. Both have lived and travelled extensively throughout Africa.
