Provide holistic treatment for kids with cancer

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS, EDUCATION, AND PREVENTION

The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic's mission is to support and empower low-income women with cancer by providing free access to compassionate, integrative care, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, guided imagery, movement, and nutritional advice. These evidence-based modalities offer relief from the side effects of cancer and its treatments, and contribute to increased rates of survival and quality of life. They are rarely covered by insurance and are too costly for women living in poverty. Since 1991, CMC has provided integrative cancer care and health education free of charge to thousands of underserved women with cancer. Our vision is that all low-income women with cancer achieve the highest attainable health during their cancer journey.

As cancer survivors, we embrace the moment and show the world that there can be a purposeful life after a cancer diagnoses. PINK PHURREE (pronounced "fury"), Texas' first all women and cancer survivor dragon Boat Team, was founded by Frances Arzu' in 2007. PINK PHURREE, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is an unconventional cancer support group where dragon boat paddling is used to promote active survivorship both on and off the water. As members of the International Breast Cancer Survivor Paddler Commission, we are a breast cancer survivor team. Even so, we do encourage survivors that have been diagnosed with other types of cancer to join our crew as well. As Pink Phurree embraces new survivors, the journey continues to expand our ability to touch and enrich many lives. No experience or athletic ability required!

Lemons of Love, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides support and community to those affected by cancer through comforting care packages and Cancer Resource Center programs.

The mission of Nick’s Fight to be Healed Foundation is to support pediatric cancer patients as well as serve the young adult cancer community. We strive to improve quality of life by promoting well-being, reducing stress within the entire family, and providing resources to help children with cancer lead fun and fulfilling lives.

Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about stomach cancer, advancing funding for research, and providing education and support internationally to patients, families, and caregivers. DDF seeks as its ultimate goal to make the cure for stomach cancer a reality.

The mission of Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. We create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer – men, women, teens, children and families. Our innovative programs are an essential complement to medical care, providing individual counseling, support groups, workshops, education and social activities. Since 2001, Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT has offered support for people whose lives have been touched by cancer… all types of cancer. It’s a warm, inviting place where everyone can come together to share their experiences. Free of charge and non–profit, Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT offers emotional support including group support and individual/family counseling, healthy lifestyle workshops and activities and social events in a nonresidential, yet home–like setting. At Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT, support, information, fellowship and understanding meet.

The mission of Families Raising Hope is to assist cancer patients and their families with the financial burden that cancer treatments pose so that they can focus on their health, healing, and recovery. We are families helping families raise awareness and critical funding for those faced with the financial toxicities of a cancer diagnosis. We are a nonprofit organization and community of cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers that understand first-hand the impacts of a cancer diagnosis. We are dedicated to helping others through similar obstacles and emotional stresses.By leveraging an incredible community of supporters and donors, we provide crisis funding for essential needs such as housing expenses, living expenses, and continued medical expenses.

Ollie’s Orchestra’s mission is to provide music and advocacy for children with a cancer diagnosis by: Distributing quality musical instruments to infants and children with a cancer diagnosis in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Cultivating music in all forms: lessons, music therapy and performance (live in-person, streamed and recorded) by connecting children with musicians, artists, music therapists and music teachers.Promoting awareness and providing financial support for pediatric cancer by raising funds for research to find more effective, less toxic therapies for pediatric brain cancer
