Together, they create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Wishes are more than just nice. They are necessary. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with illnesses a higher chance of survival. For some, a wish is incentive to comply with treatments so they can get healthy enough to experience their wish. For others, it's a distraction; something positive to look forward to. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. Right now, they could fill seven school buses with the number of children who are waiting for a wish. Your support helps wish kids rise above their illnesses. They need your help to achieve our vision to grant a wish to every eligible child.

Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. DBCT’s Mission is threefold: to ensure all families living in poverty have an adequate supply of diapers for their infants and toddlers; to raise community awareness that “basic human needs” include diapers but that these needs aren't being met for those living in poverty; and to advocate for policy reform so diapers are included in the definition of and provision for the “basic health needs” of families. More than 110 social service agencies make up our nationally recognized Diaper Distribution Network, efficiently and effectively distributing diapers to families most in need in their service communities as determined by a rigorous set of qualifications in consultation with our board of directors, professional advisors and partner agencies and codified through our Agency Advisory Council.
