Founded in 1950, KCRM has helped people in need. We welcome the poor, homeless, hungry, and hurting. KCRM offers freedom from the past and hope for the future. Good food, safe shelter, comfortable beds, clean facilities, case management, proven recovery program, job and life-skills training.

The mission of the Nehemiah Program is to see that more affordable transitional and permanent housing for low- and moderate-income households and homeless and/or near homeless individuals becomes a reality particularly in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, and through its housing programs bring about improved economic opportunities for these citizens and the communities in which they exist.

Sojourner's House on the Ridge is devoted to creating a stronger community by opening doors to self-sufficiency, dignity, and hope for our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of losing their shelter.

Doing Our Part (DOP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity founded by Dedric K. Myers. The Mission of DOP is to Help Others Help Themselves. We assist the hungry, needy and politically under-represented by providing resources to enable them to become self-sufficient.

For 7 years the Sheehan Adopt-A-Family Project (www.safproject.org), a 501(c)(3) charity, has adopted hundreds of homeless and needy families during the holidays. In addition to looking after these families once again this year we will also be expanding our reach into group homes (i.e. orphanages) by asking for technology donations (old phones, tablets, and computers. The reason I want to expand into group homes is because I’ve identified a connection between aging out of group homes and homelessness. As many of you are aware, we have a tremendous problem of homelessness in our city. Over 40,000 people are on the streets of Los Angeles, and this number is on the rise. Youths make up the fastest growing homeless age group with those 18-24 up 64% since 2016 followed by those under 18 at 41%, according to US News. Since the majority of youth in group homes are kicked out onto the streets on the day of their 18th birthday, I hope to intervene by providing these youth with the technological resources necessary for surviving on their own. Keturah’s Haven has been established to break the chain of generational poverty and hopelessness by providing women in crisis pregnancies a loving, structured environment as well as the necessary resources and support for them and their children to become productive, well-balanced and contributing citizens.

Casa Familia Inc. will foster affordable housing, vocational training, employment services, and person centered solutions for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our planned residential community will be a safe and caring home for adults with IDD providing each individual with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life. Casa Familia Inc. will encompass a community of people including caregivers, educators, friends and family that will empower and sustain the residents to live meaningful, productive and fulfilling lives. Continued lifelong learning, social growth and skills development will support the residents to achieve their fullest potential.

Bradley Angle’s mission is to serve all people affected by domestic violence. We do this by placing people experiencing—or at risk of—domestic violence at the center of our services and providing them with safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope.
