The mission of Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) is to provide affordable housing to alleviate homelessness and human suffering. In carrying out this mission, SHC prioritizes the needs of the “chronically homeless”—those who have been homeless for at least one year and have at least one disability. SHC serves chronically homeless individuals and families by providing permanent supportive housing in a variety of congregated and scattered site residencies.

Harbor House hopes to contribute to the building of a just community where all people are included. We see all human beings as worthy of our time and our efforts. We offer referrals, resources, case management, and a hand up for those who are struggling. It is our goal to help all people in our community find hope, gainful employment, affordable housing, and a sense of personal well being

Seattle Homeless Outreach (SHO) seeks to meet our clients where they are, without expectation or judgment, and provide basic survival supplies including food, water, sleeping bags, tents, clothing, and bus tickets. But more importantly, we provide a human connection to our homeless neighbors. SHO builds relationships with our homeless neighbors and with social service providers in the Seattle area so that we can connect people with services they need.

We believe that by creating an environment where people with intellectual and physical disabilities can share their gifts, we are affecting a positive change in the world. We believe that these shared gifts have the power to transform the lives of those who are open to receiving them. We celebrate the unique value of every person and recognize our need for one another. We resolve to explore and appreciate the diverse cultures and faith practices within L’Arche and to work together toward a more evolved and caring human society.

NAM's mission is to meet basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors. NAM is a community based, multi-program social service agency established in 1983 which is supported by 50 congregations, 17 service organizations, and over 170 business community partners. Guided by a relatively small staff of 85, more than 2,700 volunteers work together to provide a variety of basic services to our neighbors in need throughout the Houston area. More than 50% of those helped by this effort are children.

St. Anthony’s is an organization providing essential support to San Franciscans living in poverty. We believe that supporting people in need makes the city a better place to live. Every day, with dignity and respect, we offer thousands of the most vulnerable among us the basics we all need to feel human: a hot meal, fresh clothing, an opportunity to connect with the world around us. We bring people together in this work because we know it takes a community to break down barriers and create a society where all people flourish.

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation (UNPHC), founded in 1967, is a Utah non-profit developer of multi-family affordable housing. Staffed by volunteers until 1993, there are now almost 50 employees. UNPHC has 40 properties providing more than 1,800 units to over 2,000 individuals. In addition, UNPHC provides the property management to several of these projects, as well as technical assistance to other non profit organizations and communities wanting to develop their own affordable housing. Those we serve are low and very low income, making less than 50% of the area median income. The majority of properties serve seniors 62 and older, but UNPHC also serves special needs populations such as physically disabled, families, chronically mentally ill, homeless, families and individuals in transition from homelessness, and HIV/AIDS persons. We own 20 single-family rent-to-own homes, and a 24-unit town home project for first-time home buyers. The most basic human needs are shelter and food. If those needs are not met, individuals are excluded from other significant human interactions: employment, parenting, and social contributions. UNPHC is committed to the belief that the long-term solution to homelessness is safe, decent, and affordable housing.

H.Y.S.S.O.P. Housing Inc.-Honoring Your Seasoned Spirit in Opulent Places was founded 2010, formed as a group in 2012, acquired its 501c3 non-profit status in 2015. We exist to provide aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color quality housing in a supportive environment. We seek to improve the quality of life for this community and to respond to the needs of this community through housing ventures. We aspire to provide safe, fully sustainable, culturally diverse housing for aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color and the women & family who love them. We believe that aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color deserve the right to live in an environment that supports our sexuality, cultural sensitivity, different abilities, as well as address the care and well-being of our overall self.

We do this by training local community members in trades-related skills through home improvement projects. Mission: ICNA Relief USA seeks to alleviate human suffering by providing caring and compassionate service to victims of adversities and survivors of disasters. ICNA Relief USA strives to build healthy communities, strengthen families and create opportunities for those in despair while maintaining dignity and advocating for basic human needs. Goals: Assist and empower under-privileged Americans through sustainable social service programs. Strengthen the family system through education and value based family services. Foster effective partnership and coordination with Islamic Centers, faith based organizations, civic and governmental agencies. Develop effective disaster response and recovery programs. Outreach effectively through leading edge technologies and means of mass communication. Streamline and Strengthen of the Organization Enhance the financial stability of ICNA Relief. We are successfully running the following programs: Domestic Disaster Relief Family Support Services/National Crisis Hotline Women's Shelter/Temporary Housing Hunger Prevention Burial Assistance Health Clinics Back 2 School Giveaways Our headquarters is located at 87-91 144th Street, Jamaica, NY 11435 with more than 14 field offices over all in the United States. Volunteers from across the country are helping us accomplish our mission. We are a Muslim organization and feel the responsibility to help and support the needy as our religious responsibility.

Deborah’s Place opens doors of opportunity for women who are homeless in Chicago. Supportive housing and services offer women their key to healing, achieving their goals and moving on from the experience of homelessness. We seek to fulfill our mission through the expression of our core values: We believe that safe, clean and affordable housing is a right. We believe that every woman has the potential to achieve her goals and determine her future. We believe that women heal from life traumas through healthy relationships and a caring, supportive community. We believe that we are stronger when we welcome and celebrate the diversities of the women we serve, our donors, volunteers and staff. We believe in striving for continual growth, development and excellence in the supportive housing and services we provide. We believe that our impact is greatest when we work in collaboration with individuals, organizations and the community at large.

The mission of Hope of the Valley is to attract people and resources to assist in the effort of meeting the needs of every hungry and homeless man, woman and child who seek our services. To fulfill our mission we form strategic partnerships to empower our clients with the faith, knowledge, resources and skills to lead a life of wholeness and self-sufficiency.Our vision is that no one goes without Hope, Hot Meals, Housing, and Health Services, and all who need a helping hand receive one with compassion and empathy.We are a faith-based independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not discriminate based on religion, gender, age, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
