YFU Bulgaria's mission and aims can be enlisted as follows (non-extensive list): - promoting the development and affirmation of spiritual values, education, and culture; - supporting social integration and personal fulfilment - nurturing the traits for a new system of values and consciousness of world citizens in young people; - providing assistance in overcoming barriers to communication and helping quality professional realization; - expanding the opportunity for young people to rediscover the importance of family and homeland and its spiritual values and national traditions; - developing in young people the ability for initiative, civic and social responsibility; - promoting the development of a sense of belonging.
I Wish is a volunteer led global initiative to inspire young females (aged 14-17) to explore a career in STEM. I Wish has evolved since its inception in 2015 from being a once a year Showcase to an all year-round showcase of opportunities in STEM. I Wish is now multi-faceted. It comprises of Showcase Events both in person and streamed virtually in addition to providing a STEM information resource for students and teachers campus weeks with 5 Higher Education Institutes, an alumni circle building stem bridges from primary to secondary and on to Higher Education and through our Survey a policy driver for government and stakeholders in STEM. The Showcase Events comprise: 1. a Conference Zone where the students hear from women and men forging careers in STEM, from groundbreaking researchers to entrepreneurs, data scientists and engineers; and 2. an interactive Exhibition Zone where the students can engage with STEM industries and higher education from leaders in their field like Dell, Trinity, ARUP, Aer Lingus, DIT to entrepreneurs and creatives working in STEM; 3. a Teach IT Zone designed as a resource for teachers; 4. a Create IT Zone demonstrating the creative side of STEM; 5. a Build IT Zone promoting female entrepreneurs in STEM. Since 2015 the I Wish Showcase Events have turned the heads of over 50,000 girls towards STEM and empowered them to become the next generation of thought leaders, innovators and game changers in our ever changing world.
The objects of the DAR(CIO) are i.The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among people who are refugees and asylum seekers living in Darlington who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social and economic position, by providing A education and training in the English Language B volunteer befriender / mentors who will assist them with their integration into the community of Darlington, by the provision of information, advice and support. ii.. The relief of poverty for refugees and asylum seekers displaced from, in particular, but not limited to, Syria and other war zones who are or have been resident in any refugee camps in Europe by the provision of essential equipment, furniture and other items as may be necessary

The WOW Foundation is an independent charity based in the UK that works globally, born out of a project conceived by the trailblazing theatre director, Jude Kelly CBE whilst artistic director at Southbank Centre in London and established as an independent Foundation in May 2018. Our Values are Celebration; Courage; Intelligence; Equality; Empathy; Reflection WOW's vision is to be a leading voice in achieving a gender equal world by 2030. Our mission is to build a global movement towards gender equality for all, through creative programming, redefining networks, advocating for equality and developing people. The WOW Foundation (WOW) is the fast-growing global movement for gender equity, building a strong, independent network of leaders and festivals for change across the world. Current trajectory predicts 132 years before global gender equity is reached (WEF 2022 Report). We urgently need this to change. We produce ground-breaking, intersectional, arts-led festivals that amplify and connect the creativity and expertise of women, girls and non-binary people around the world. Each year culminates around International Women's Day in March with our annual global showcase, WOW London, the largest of all our festivals, which brings together the highlights from our global community to the Southbank Centre, London, reaching an audience of 30,000. WOW is committed to working with partners from all sectors and in particular with businesses that express a clear and genuine commitment to intersectional gender equality in their workplace; for their client/customer base; and for wider society. Every year WOW reaches millions of people through our programmes worldwide, delivered through local partnership in over 45 cities across 6 continents and growing. All our work leaves a legacy of bold, creative and connected individuals to advance this transformation. This is our global community of Changemakers. Through this network we are enabling new conversations, strengthening initiatives and building communities of diverse people building visible, vocal and active allies in the drive towards a gender equal world. Underpinning all The WOW Foundation's work are exciting and unusual alliances across sectors and across society that progress and drive our movement to bring about a gender equal world. The time is now to address the underlying issues that stop women and girls all over the world from achieving their potential, and celebrate what what has already been achieved.
Our mission is to empower vulnerable women/girls from Luton and Bedfordshire to lead lives that are safer, healthier and fairer, while also taking action to challenge wider societal concerns around gendered violence, mental health and inequality. We want to see Luton and Bedfordshire become a place where: - Violence/ abuse against women and girls is prevented wherever possible (e.g. through early intervention and community-based educational work) - All women/ girls affected by trauma are effectively supported to recover from the impacts of such experiences (particularly around their mental health and socio-economic circumstances), avoid repeat victimisation and successfully move forward with their lives. - Our community feels protected now and in the future (e.g. through easily accessible services for women plus the 'butterfly effect' impacts on others like their dependents) - People and organisations work together to create a wider understanding and better response to violence against women/ girls and mental health across our region. We now work intensively with over 1000 women/ girls per year, the vast majority of which have experiences of domestic violence/abuse and/or similar trauma (e.g. harmful practices, historic child sexual abuse or sexual exploitation). All are dealing with severe impacts of trauma, particularly around their mental health, safety, confidence, family and personal relationships, and future prospects. At Luton All Women's Centre, they can find the solace, strength and opportunity they need to make positive change in their lives. Our main objective, therefore, is to deliver a wide range of specialist services which tackle these issues and their consequences at the earliest opportunity (including prevention work). This includes providing: a domestic abuse/ trauma response service (1-1 and group support); professional counselling (supported by volunteers); a range of health and wellbeing services; a harmful practices service; 'The Women's Academy' (our employability project); access to practical advice, resources, advocacy and legal surgeries; plus several peer groups which support recovery and reduce isolation. This work usually takes place within our women-only centre. However, after making necessary adaptations during the pandemic, we now provide a blend of remote and in-person services, in line with our clients' preferences. Typically, our clients access several areas of support over around 18 months, at which point they are usually able to make lasting positive changes such a building a stable family life and progressing with other goals around their future such as pursuing education or employment aspirations. Over the last five years, LAWC has significantly advanced its scope beyond direct beneficiary support to increase our societal impact. Locally, we are taking a leading role in tackling gender inequality; introducing innovative solutions around trauma, DVA, mental health, poverty and other key issues affecting women/girls; and are working hard to improve early intervention/ prevention approaches in and around Luton. Examples of how we do this include providing educational/training activities for our clients, young people, key professionals and local employers; working with partners on local policy/campaigns; and spearheading a trauma-informed approach within the local mental health framework.
In countries affected by conflict and war, Women for Women International supports the most marginalised women to earn and save money, improve health and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support. By utilizing skills, knowledge, and resources, she is able to create sustainable change for herself, her family, and community.

This includes providing a platform at our clubhouse for social interaction, peer support, and the opportunity to improve physical fitness and develop new skills . To create a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals can come together through their shared love of football, and use the sport as a means to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The club's primary focus would be on promoting positive mental health and reducing isolation, by providing a safe and supportive environment where people can connect with others who are going through similar experiences. The club also works towards breaking down barriers and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues by promoting awareness and understanding of mental health within the wider community. This can be achieved through education and outreach programmes, as well as working with local organisations and businesses to raise awareness and support for mental health initiatives. Ultimately, the mission of Minds United Football Club is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the community, by fostering a sense of connection and belonging, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles, and providing opportunities for personal growth and development.
