The PTA is a vital part of our school’s community. We work closely with parents, students, staff, teachers and administrators to enhance the educational experience of our children, to celebrate our community, and to recognize the work of the professionals and volunteers who make it all happen. We also serve as a collective voice for children and families to advocate for policies and procedures that impact our lives. The PTA is a resource center, an information hub, and a gathering place for the entire TPES community. We encourage you to return frequently for news and, above all, to stay informed and engaged.

The mission of the MTAC Foundation is to provide opportunities for further musical education, the creation of new music, and public performances through scholarships, grants, and awards.

CCNATS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the singing teacher and singer. We are local chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Our goals include: Assisting teachers in building and expanding their knowledge and skills Providing students performing and learning experiences not provided in academia through workshops, competition, and master classes Fostering a community among voice professionals Establishing and maintaining the highest possible standards of ethical principles and practices in the profession

GWMS PTA provides support to one of the only two middle schools in the City of Alexandria. Donations support: Fund a field trip to the exciting places like the National History Museum! Sponsor children for educational activities outside of the classroom! Buy Supplies for the Classroom--did you know teachers buy their own supplies?! :( Support our Reflections Writing Program! Fund Science Fair & National History Day! Provide Education Grants to Teachers Keep our Classrooms Innovative Make sure our kids have dances and fun social activities for each grade! The annual drama production, Show your teacher some support! Staff appreciation events make them feel special! Tutoring to help our kids achieve!
