in November 2022, we changed our name to Pregnancy Justice from National Advocates for Pregnant Women to reflect the inclusive nature of our work and our all-encompassing fight for the civil and human rights of all people with the capacity for pregnancy. We work to ensure that no one loses their rights because of pregnancy or because of their capacity for pregnancy, focusing on pregnant people who are most at risk of state control and criminalization: those who are low-income, of color, and drug-using.
