The George Hull Centre for Children & Families is an accredited children's mental health centre dedicated to serving children and youth, from birth to age 18, and their families. We help troubled children. We help troubled families. Children with depression. Children with school problems. Children with drug problems. Children who want to die. The Centre offers hope and healing through a full range of mental health services, including prevention services, outpatient services, day treatment and residential services. Our staff - early childhood educators, child and youth workers, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, speech and language pathologists - are united by a common commitment to work tirelessly to support children and their families to become strong and healthy. The Mission of the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children is to be a leading educational facility and Outreach provider. The School offers a full range of exceptional individualized special education services fostering maximum independence for students with visual impairment, including blindness and other challenges, and provides support and resources to families and the community.

At its inception, Medical Missions for Children (MMFC) went to one country to help a handful of children and with a goal. That goal was to build sustainable health care, education and social services infrastructure, thereby enhancing life in the underserved areas of the world. Today, 25 years later, MMFC now conducts close to 20 missions a year and has operated on over 27,000 children. MMFC accomplishes its goals by building long-term relationships and sending volunteer teams to more than 15 countries in those 25 years. Overall, the need is staggering with more than 170,000 children born with cleft lip and palate deformities each year and a backlog of over eight million children and adults who are born with these congenital facial deformities and are currently awaiting this surgery. MMFC’s seeks to increase access to care for children in some of the more isolated and under-served areas of the world while at the same time creating a sustainable health care model.

Advocates for Children of New York (AFC)'s mission is to ensure a high-quality education for New York students who face barriers to academic success, focusing on students from low-income backgrounds. AFC achieves this through four integrated strategies: free advice and legal representation for families of students; free trainings and workshops for parents, communities, and educators and other professionals, to equip them to advocate on behalf of students; policy advocacy to effect change in the education system and improve education outcomes; and impact litigation to protect the right to quality education and compel needed reform.

RCSN‘s mission is to promote positive futures and enhance quality of life for New York City children and youth with disabilities, ages birth through 26, and their families. RCSN empowers families of children and youth with disabilities with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to make informed decisions, effectively access and navigate systems and services, and to advocate for themselves and other young people with disabilities and their families. RCSN supports educators, youth workers, and other professionals to partner with families for successful, person-centered services, and to support and promote a family voice in the policy process.
