ECAN's mission is to save lives by stressing the crucial link between heartburn and esophageal cancer; fostering prevention and early detection among those at risk; supporting medical research into prevention, early detection, treatment and a cure; and, connecting patients and caregivers with resources for information, encouragement and compassionate support.

Our mission is to promote prevention of infectious diseases (HIV, TB, and HPV) in Mali while working to develop vaccines for distribution on a not-for-profit basis in the developing world. The Foundation's activities are centered on four themes: education, prevention, access to care, and vaccines. Through our active, ongoing collaboration with West African physicians and support for prevention-related clinical activities in the region, we work to improve the health of Malian children and their parents while setting the stage for ethical vaccine trials.

MEDA's mission is to prevent the continuing spread of eating disorders through educational awareness and early detection. MEDA serves as a support network and resource for clients, loved ones, clinicians, educators, and the general public.

Established in 1980, Jenesse Center, Inc. is one of the oldest domestic violence intervention and prevention programs in Los Angeles. Jenesse’s mission is to restore families impacted by domestic/sexual violence through holistic, trauma informed, culturally responsive services and advance prevention initiatives that foster and sustain healthy, violence free communities. We seek to prevent and end the cycle of domestic violence through education, outreach initiatives, public policy and advocacy strategies and collaboration with key partners. Central London Samaritans is the only support service in London open round the clock, every day of the year. Every year we receive over 100,000 calls for help. Our volunteers provide a safe space for people to talk to us about whatever's troubling them. Our callers are often distressed and experiencing despair and suicidal feelings. People call us to be heard, to work through their problems and find to positive outcomes that work for them.
