Teen Suicide Prevention Society

We believe that suicide, especially teen suicide, should be a thing of the past. We are devoted to providing "Pure Prevention". This mean we want to talk with you before you're at risk, before you have a string of bad days, and before suicide becomes a thing in your life. We have created tools to break open the negative thought echo chamber, without re-traumatizing someone. After all, if a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down, a spoonful of optimism is all it takes to save a life.

International Suicide Prevention (ISP)

According to mental health experts, suicide is a preventable cause of death. We strive to offer new technology that encourages individuals, who are not willing to seek traditional mental health treatments, to get help, and thereby lower current world suicide rates. Helping those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts is essential to help reduce the number of people who take their lives. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing aid and support to those who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide. Our trained staff and resources are available to provide assistance and support. We can also provide resources and information to those who may be unaware of their own situation. We are here to help. Please help with your tax deductible contribution to save a life. Doing the work 24/7, since 2006.

Suicide Prevention Resource Centre

SPRC has been helping to reduce suicide and its effects for over 25 years. We have listened to people’s stories of their struggles and have helped them find hope and counseling. We've sat beside people who’ve lost loved ones and listened to their heartbreaking stories, showing them that it's possible to survive. We have shown teenagers ways of building their resilience and helped men who've lost relationships or jobs to rebuild their lives. We have changed attitudes about suicide and shown that it is lifesaving to ask about suicidal thoughts and reach out to help people find the resources they need. Every year we teach hundreds of students & agency personnel to intervene safely in crisis situations. We work with organizations & caregivers from the BC border to Fox Creek & from Fairview to Grande Cache, with our offices in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We are accountable, use your money locally, and use research and best practices to address issues regarding identified high-risk groups.
