Taller Salud, Inc. is a feminist grassroots organization that works towards the health and well-being of girls, young women and adult women, primarily targeting low-income communities.

Prem-maa is a certified 501(c)3 non-profit online retailing business. This organization was created by three teenage girls that are passionate about fighting the human trafficking industry. It is our goal at Prem-maa to help prevent young women from ever becoming trafficked again.

We are an organization that is driven by American students to make a better world for their fellow students in Afghanistan. Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, including returning refugees, to create an opportunity for cooperative efforts between the United States and Afghanistan, and to develop and enhance educational and cultural understanding and exchange opportunities. Our goals are to re-establish equal educational facilities for boys and girls, provide humanitarian assistance and develop opportunities for economic self-reliance which will facilitate refugee repatriation

The Joan Angela D’Alessandro Foundation honors the memory of 7-years old Girl Scout Joan. The Foundation promotes child safety via programs we provide and legislation we advocate. In addition , we provide support to neglected and abused children through fun and educational excursions; and we help victims of crime by way of consultation. Joan’s story has brought hope through awareness and prevention. The lives of thousands will continue to benefit from the impact of her legacy.

To model to our rescued girls in Peru what a happy and healthy family is like. To provide for them love - in addition to the emotional, psychological, and physical security that they did not have before arriving to us. To provide for them a good education so that they can become agents of change for their society, culture, and world. Most importantly: We serve to be an expression of God’s heart towards the children He gives us. His heart is expressed very well in Psalm 68, verses 5 and 6 – “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…” We consider it a privilege to be used of Him to provide a family for the children and youth that He has placed into our hands.

Apadrina la Ciencia (Sponsor Science) is a new initiative to promote scientific research and public understanding of science in Spain. It stems from the conviction that scientific research is a source of wealth and prosperity, and that investment in science is an investment in the future. Apadrina la Ciencia (Sponsor Science) was launched by a group of scientists with extensive experience in several research areas, who have joined efforts to promote communication and direct collaboration among scientists and the rest of society. Unlike other initiatives, the goal is not to obtain funding for their own research, but rather to secure resources through patronage, sponsorship and micro-grants to support science research and outreach in Spain. More than 200 internationally renowned scientists from different universities and research institutions support this initiative. Apadrina la Ciencia (Sponsor Science) aims to direct people's solidarity to support research on issues related to health, the environment and new technologies, with special attention to basic research, which is the foundation of scientific progress and technological development. Through job contracts and project grants, Apadrina la Ciencia (Sponsor Science) is a means by which citizen support can have an optimum return and maximum impact on the goal of strengthening the Spanish scientific system. Scientific outreach is a priority of Apadrina la Ciencia (Sponsor Science), to inform citizens about scientific advances and help to generate critical opinion on important social issues. One of the main objectives of Apadrina la Ciencia is thus to make science more accessible, especially to young people. Our timely and trackable campaigns, programs, and philanthropic products are based in strategic partnerships and local/international coalition building. We harness the power of cutting-edge multi-media communication, design, and technology, along with the viral potential of global social media networks, to confront the pandemic crisis of sexual violence in formidable ways. Key Objectives Developing Networks Strengthening existing networks and catalyzing and incubating new sexual abuse and assault prevention, support, and recovery networks in communities and for populations where need exists worldwide. Helping at-risk and victimized populations across the globe to find and access local, culturally-appropriate prevention, support, and recovery services and resources. Creating an international "best practices" forum which can serve as an open-source centralized professional development hub for professionals around the world working in the fields of sexual abuse and assault prevention, support, and recovery. Facilitating the connection of philanthropically-motivated individuals and organization with the local organizations around the world that are doing good work in this arena. Building Capacity Raising the global public awareness and comprehension of the worldwide epidemic of sexual violence and the ubiquitous issues surrounding this problem. Empowering victims of sexual violence with educational information and resources. Providing victims of sexual violence a chance to share their personal stories and have their stories count for change. Spearheading Leading-Edge Research Garnering data from effected populations, service organizations, and local municipalities around the globe to cultivate new understanding, make publicly visible what has previously been undocumented and unseen, encourage further multi-disciplinary study, better serve at-risk and effected populations, and provide valuable information for policy makers. Influencing Culture and Policy Bringing communities together, united behind the common cause of exposing, confronting, and stemming the sexual violence embedded within every culture. Encouraging policy makers to take notice and pursue positive action as a result of highly-impactful global grassroots campaigns.

OUR PRINCIPLES RDT-Vicente Ferrer believes that people are the main actors in their development process and ensures their active involvement and leadership in the programs. The organization endorses a multi-sectoral approach with a view to enhancing people's overall progress. As a result, RDT addresses all major areas of development, including access to quality education, improved livelihoods, ecologyand the environment, equal opportunities for people with disabilities, women's development and empowerment, and access to healthcare. We organize, at a grassroots level, women, men, andpeople with disabilities into groups to enhance their strength, confidence, and ability to resolve their own issues and problems. An important RDT-Vicente Ferrer approach is the continuous sharing of knowledge, skills, and awareness about all aspects of life. Collaboration with the government and other NGOs to draw maximum benefits from development. To raise people's awareness and support their use of government schemes and resources. Though the organization has a special program forwomen's development, it believes that women's progress should be a factor in every area of work and life, including education, where emphasis is placed on young girls, and healthcare, for the overall well-being of women and girls. We believe in continuous training and orientation for staff members and people. We also have an HR department that regularly organizes internal and external training sessions for staff members of all levels and people on leadership, group building, problem solving, and gender-related matters, among others. To create an efficient human organization capable of acting regardless of where the need arises, even in emergencies. We believe that we must have a strong organization focused on community development, yet flexible and able to accommodate the changing needs of the people. RDT-Vicente Ferrer also stresses continuous dialogue with people and seeks to ensure its programs are useful and practical.
